Yes im doing it currently...have to do over a period of time, it takes a while but great not having to worry about shaving, waxing is okay but waiting for it to grow to a sufficient length is a pain. By summer we should be smooth and silky

Yes I have extensive experience. The key is that there are different types.

IPL - this is the most painful type and least effective type. It is the most commonly available in beauty salons. It does not have scientific evidence for long term results, can only be used with a great contrast in colour of hair and skin (the darker the hair and lighter the skin tone the better), burns and hurts the most.

Alexandrite, NdYag, Ruby and diode lasers are all very effective with scientific evidence behind them. Often you will get these in combination such as Alexandrite and NdYag combination laser. These are both very effective at permanent hair reduction and much less painful than IPL. they can also be used on much lighter hair and darker skin tones than IPL. Unsurprisingly, it is more expensive.

Most of these cause permanent HAIR REDUCTION. no method gives 100% clearance. The thicker and darker the hair, the more effective it is. It won't work as well on bum fluff, but will work on thick forearm hair for example. Men need more treatments, and minimum 6 to 10 treatments. The hair becomes finer and grows slower and some sections may not grow back. You need to hit it at the right stage in the cycle - causing delays in treatment will mean less effective treatment. Most situations advise avoiding teaching for month before and after treatment, so best start after your summer holiday.

Hope this is helpful.

So so helpful! I had a course of about 6 sessions on my underarms about 6 years ago and it all came back! I dream of being hairless
