Admin have said many times they will not make photo-verification mandatory - it is not, after all infallible.

In certain circumstances it is a requirement for some new accounts.

Most people would not choose to join a site without having the chance to try it out first, and P-V on joining would put off genuine members - not just the 'time-wasters/fakes'.

I don't know to be quite honest. It's just really annoying that people will message us and talk for a while then send a face pic, so we reverse image it and find it on pintrest or imagefap. Its just annoying. Yes I understand that some people arnt photo verified and do have successfull meets. Surely the site can do something.

The site do plenty. If you find a pic you believe is fake - report it so Admin can take another look at it.

Use the tools the site gives us - do more vetting before committing to a meet - it is not the responsibility of the site to do your due diligence for you.

Block new, unverified profiles and any

profile types that you're not interested in - from mailing you through the message filters to minimise the volume of unwanted approaches.

Personally, as a newbie, I am photo verified and prefer just to chat to photo verified members. Meets are harder to come by for single males so verification will take me time.

There are filters there to help so it does make it easier.

Agreed, but many people here are pretty private, I’d suggest a mandatory full body, with/without clothes, no face necessary holding up sign with screename snd fabswingers on it and must be shown on profile.. not much thought went into that idea so maybe I’ve missed something

So in my opinion the fact that someone is photo verified doesn’t mean they aren’t a time waster, some of the biggest time wasters and bullshitters I’ve spoken to on this site have a photo verification and some of the most genuine people I’ve met have had no verification at all

I agree with anna tv as I find many photo verified people just talk alot of bull and the people I have actually met where un-verified.

Same with meet verified I find the same with many just trying their hardest to get some wank chat that I won't fall for.

So can only come down to experience in judgment and asking the right questions to out the fakes.

I think some people don’t understand the intention behind the photo verification option.

Its supposed to give a level of assurance that the person in the picture is the same gender as the person’s profile.

What it’s not, is a cast iron guarantee that this process is 100% fool proof. Photo verifications can be and probably are faked.

What they are not is a nailed on guarantee that the person is genuine, the profile is genuine, that they won’t waste your time, that they will find you attractive, that they will want to meet you or that they will fuck you.

Enjoying the site is about using your common sense.

I even saw someone a while back suggesting that a photo verification was a better barometer than a meet verification.

That really did make me want to give my head a wobble.

I think some people are in too much of a hurry to meet, too desperate, and in their haste they forget to carry out any due diligence.

After which they want the site to remedy their mistakes by introducing a whole raft of unworkable and impractical processes.

If any other form of verification system provided a 100% guarantee I think the site would have implemented it by now.

Snap! I wouldn't stay if it was compulsory and I guess LOT of women wouldn't be comfortable with it. Its a great idea for killing of the site though with even less women on here.

Besides anyone with any intelligence chatting to someone on here talks on the phone or go on cam with people to be more sure they are who they say they are.

I was made to verify early on. I guess I was reported as fake. (I'd meant to get round to it then landed in hospital. A likely story on a new single fem account, but occasionally shit happens! Those who didn't abuse me got a *cough* glamorous hospital selfie

) I get it.

But I think making it compulsory across the board would create a false sense of security. There are going to be fakes, no system is foolproof, and you need to watch yourself. With the opportunity of the Internet comes the frustration of trolls and fakes. Such is life.

You can't have a fully clothed PV, so it would have to be a naked or face pic, which again, lots of people wouldn't want.

I really don't know what it will achieve anyway, if anyone thinks someone could have a fake PV we can report it for Admin to check out.

Agree with OP, photo verification would help, I know there will be ways around it. But Photoshop ping a hand written fab name and take a photo, may be too much hassle and the fakes could try other sites

Just arrange a social meet, they can’t fake that. Job done. Too much time is wasted on the whole swapping life stories and photos through text. Sure, have a brief chat first but you will never truly know if you want to continue until you actually meet up. Some profiles stand out a mile and the way people get "verified" is to create a fake profile and then verify the original profile. So it doesn't matter if you filter verified only as there are ways around it. I agree with the original poster that all profiles should be photo verified just to reduce the number of fakes. You will never get rid of them all but more could be done in my opinion. Half the time you think am I replying to a cock in a frock.

That wouldn't work. A new (fake) unverified profile wouldn't be able to verify and existing profile.

Who thinks that accounts should only be published and made public when the account have been face photo verified? Not a full nude shot, a actual face photo verification.

Surely this will out the fakes time wasters. I mean come on fake profile makers. Foreskin doesn't grow back!!!

I wouldn't be verified if you had to show your face. I don't trust that the site couldn't be hacked so I'm very careful not to mix filth with face!
