Personally I don't like how the padlocks look/sit on most of the older design cages so tend to go for ones with integrated barrel locks.

For your first cage it is worth considering on which comes with a number of different sized retention rings to help with the sizing.

Whichever cage you opt for it is a good idea to try assembling and taking apart the peices a couple of times before the first fitting The bit of familiarity helps at this stage.

Whilst most of the sex toy supplier will carry a limited range of cages you will get a better selection from a specialist. I have used House of Denial and Toys4NaughyBoys, both had a good choice and were quick to ship in suitably discrete packaging.

The HoD PC1 was my first cage which worked but is a bit fiddly to assemble and does give a bit of a lego look. I fairly quick moved on to the Toys4NaughtyBoys The Arc which is a bit easier to put on and feels better.

Check the sizing carefully, first one I bought I couldn't fit into (yay humble brag); it's the diameter that was the issue. I've only ever bought cheap from eBay though so I guess you get what you pay for.

My personal choice would be the holy trainer, can be a bit awkward fitting the ball ring as you have to force your balls through it but once you get used to it it's not bad. I tried the cb6000 whilst the fitting is easier than the HT it's more uncomfortable and bulky . As has being said try Ebay and Amazon .

Where the lock attached was a hard plastic piece which I think, under clothing, put pressure on and rubbed because the rest was so flexible

Love my 6000 but did find it “opened” along the case where the 2 halves came together after a few days wear - caused quite a bite I can tell you when I moved

I use a cb6000s, the metal version is easier to keep clean and very secure.

I do use a support belt which helps as its quite heavy though.

I'd do as others have said and try a couple of cheap ones before buying a decent one to see what works for you x

Like other people have said, measure up while flaccid first, and get the right size. Try a cheap one first and practice getting used to it, no point spending a fortune if you find it's not for you. I prefer metal cages and have the bird cage. Looks good and the open bars allow her nails to be run down my shaft when she teases (bitch lol).

Start with short spells of time and build up, check for sores due to rubbing/pinching .... above all have fun and enjoy

I started out with a cb3000, it was a good starter device with it's different sized rings to experiment with but have since gone to smaller metal cages, I've found them more comfortable and easier to keep clean.

My most recent cages have come from Ebay, those Chinese stainless steel cages are really quite good quality for the price less than £8 and proving to be better than the custom made one I had before at over £200

Me & my FWB have just started exploring this. He bought the wrong size to start with (believing he was smaller than he is!) but we have another now seems to fit fine but I guess we’ll find out after he’s worn it for a bit longer.
