Local social or hit up a nearby club and chat to people to get that first veri or three. I know sometimes, people will meet up for a coffee with you just to verify.

Actually, you know what? I’m going to do that on Monday. I’m working from home so I might work from a local cafe and open the book for locals who want social veris.

I've started to do things this way when I'm out and about, no time wasted that way as I've already planned to do something.
