Kettering

Hi,

Could anybody advise me if there is any difference in side effects (I understand that these are generally down to the specific person) and performance of original Cialis v Tadalafil (Generic Cialis).

Thanks for any advice

There shouldn't be a difference, as the active medication should be the same and produced to very high standards, as all medicine is required to be. The initial medication that first gains approval will pave for the way for the lower cost generics, further down the line. The makers of generics will still need to satisfy the regulators that their version of X matches that of the original one, the branded version. If it's a pill, it may have different inactive ingredients - the filler - but the formulation of the drug must be the same, covering its release into the body and overall ensure that the generic is a bioequivalent - it affects the body in the same way, to the same extent.

If you're obtaining generic medication via licensed providers, then you should find that there's next to no difference, apart from - perhaps - the placebo effect, from having known whether you've taken the branded version and it's influenced better performance. Whilst faulty or fake medication could find its way anywhere within the supply chain, for generic or branded, it's worthwhile sticking to legal dispensaries, who will have greater safeguards than those which aren't. The General Pharmaceutical Council is a good place to search for checks.

The PDE5-inhibitor in Cialis is called Tadalafil they're not a separate thing. It's a prescription drug so your Dr is the best person to ask

Generic cialis has the same tadalafil as the branded cialis just costs less ... same as Nurofen has the same ingredient as a supermarket ibuprofen (with added cafeine)
