For the third time in a row im blocked after writing a well thought out message to the last person which tbh took me a while to not sound like the typical message she didn't even acknowledge it simply blocked me i was in her preferences perfectly but for some reason i keep getting blocked can some one just spell it out and tell me what am i doing wrong

You’re quite possibly not doing anything ‘wrong’, you’re just not what they were looking for. Think of it as a helpful filter; because once you’re blocked, you won’t accidentally stumble across their profile a second time.

Frustratingly, you can’t be everything to everyone. The only thing you can know for sure from being blocked is there the person isn’t interested, nothing more specific than that. No need to dwell on it, just move on.

Thanks that was rather helpful tbh has made me re think how i behaviour on here in future dont get me wrong i dont usually moan about stuff and im usually in the forums and changing my profile but yeah mr o had some really good solid advice which i shall be heeding

Id love to try a club but need to look in to it more as ive heard good things and bad things hopefully one day soon ill take the leap and go just need someone there i know so i dont go shy

Blokes are so happy to go in a pub on their own (whereas often women aren't) and so reluctant to go to a swinging club alone...whereas a lot of women are happy to lol.

Guess it shows up the relative perception of safety?

It's happened to me more often than not, seems like people will often block someone if they aren't interested rather than just deleting/not replying. Makes sense, overtime you filter out people you don't want.

Why thank you its taken awhile but im happy with how my bio reads maybe a tweak here and there and also noted on the pics im not very photogenic so to speak lol but massive thanks for your advice and your fab has made my day

You should present yourself how you want to, some women will love your beard and some women won't. You should be whatever you are. If she blocked you she saved your time a lot of people do that to simply end the conversation because they know for sure they are not interested. The ability to block someone is a very useful and positive tool.

You are overthinking it and making it personal. The person who blocked you simply did not want to meet you. Nothing else.

I used to take it personally... But I'm less of a snowflake nowadays...

I treat it as a giggle. Sometimes I'm sick of the same people posting the same status updates.. I shake it up a bit and usually get blocked...

What's the worst that can happen? I get blocked and I don't see them on my feed anymore.

has happened to me too blocked before i could give my reasons for not being able to accommodate kinda hurts tbh but hay it happens all we can do is forget and carry on

A lot of women block people who aren’t for them. Don’t take it personally.

I get 100’s of messages a week but some people get 1000’s a week so you have to understand that if you’re not someone’s type then you’re not their type.

I know it’s disappointing but maybe check who they have met up with on their verifications and think “am I like these guys” and message knowing that if you’re not then you run the risk that you’re not their type. Not always the case but it’s a good indicator.
