I haven’t had much luck meeting anyone yet could anyone give me some advice as if my profile needs better attention

For me, your profile needs photos OP. I see profiles on here which are silhouettes without photos and still have lots of veris, that must take a lot of chatting and messaging to achieve,as there isn't much of a starting point.

Pics can be portions of a body, don't have to be full, for us visual folk,a torso shot, legs, clothing, a smile, gives enough to know if there's an interest in messaging.

I'm also unsure about offering a free night, maybe concentrate on socials and clubs and getting to know people in the scene generally, then focus on where/who to spend the cash on selectively.

I met my other half in a club setting, we clicked immediately and after weeks of chat and further meets became true partners... When at some point in the future I looked at his (dating app) profile id have NEVER met him based on that!!

Boring and not reflective of who he really was ...

This too. If I have dozens of profiles to choose from, why would I choose one that isn't informative?
