Meets when visiting and profile

Hi all

I travel a bit with work so try and have a bit of fun while I’m away, I look through profiles in that area and search using the postcode function, I always attach photos including face but it seems a lot harder to meet people in different areas when you’re there a few nights.

I had some photos done when I did a gym modelling shoot which I also send with the message (they are private but if anyone is interested I’ll send them) I’m not sure if they put off some people?? ( that’s not me Being big headrd or attention seeking btw)

Any advice on my profile or how to get a few more away night meets?!

I can think of a few reasons for this.

1) Not everyone just wants to meet up straight away without having a social first to gauge attraction.

2) Many may think a guy that is only somewhere for a short stay in a hotel is more likely to be attached and taking the overnight stay as an opportunity to play away from their partner. Some people are fine with this but others will have a preference that swinging is about sexual honesty.

3) Only being available at a certain place and time will.obviously suit your schedule, but others often have schedules and responsibilities that they need to make arrangements around. Only being available for a night or two will mean much less chance of both parties being able to coordinate schedules.

People don't tend to meet single guys who are around their area with an hotel.

You may need to build a rapport with ppl before you arrange a meet .

Thanks for the replies,

I do always say I’m more than happy for a drink/social first I’m somewhere of there choice, not just the hotel

And I have quite a bit of free time while I’m away and normally after 5pm and before 9am the next morning , which I’d have thought is the “normal” time for meets?!

Well I love fellow Geordies so you'd have a chance.... Then I'd read the profile and be put off by the negativity.

Do you really get so many opportunities that you can risk alienating even one person with negativity?

I travel a lot with my job, but have never had a meet when doing so. I can absolutely understand the cynical view, but it's a pity we're wired up to automatically think negatively these days. Each to their own though and we all have to apply our own set of values. Personally I always hope to see those I meet again and again and build something a bit 'more' than just a one off 'transaction' as it would be easy to see it as that sadly.

Who wants a service shag anyway , get fed up. With guys messaging saying their passing thru and do I want a fuck , it's very unlikely I'll be free at such short notice and a service shag ain't really ideal

This is why we will only meet at clubs when in the UK....find it best. If we dont click and no attraction then always others to just chat and chill with as well....

OP, you're a married guy looking for a shag while you're away on business. Some people will be happy with this but reading a lot of forums this isn't really swinging so maybe a hook up site would work better for you. Of course, there's always the old fashioned method of talking to people in the hotel bar and seeing what happens...at least you have some human interaction.

Had a similar experience when I was working on a project recently. I gave up eventually and just see ladies local to me

Personaly..y all the fuss when..married.. single.. wifey/partner dont know.. do we really want to know ..err nope!.. nsa is what it is nsa..not on here for friendship or looking for regular meets with same person thats a relationship .. fuck n go..lash n dash best policy !! Thankyou for all the opinions, obviously I prefer Tania’s! Shame I wasn’t travelling near you!!

As will all things on here it seems to be very subjective and “horses for courses” which is perfectly fine!

I’ll see about getting new pics up and alter the negative aspect of my profile!
