Forgive me if the title sounds incredibly ignorant or like i'm shoehorning people into a single hivemind, but I have no friends outside of my own age and aside from smalltalk at work, I rarely speak to anyone older than me, nevermind women I find attractive/want to sleep with.

Most profiles I see are just requirements for looks, meets and such so as someone whos naturally pretty shy/reserved I have sod all to go off with conversation, and I see many women complain about people immediately asking to fuck/meet or being sleazy so I don't wanna be that guy.

Also I don't like clubs/parties so I can't just tag along to a group meet and hope for the best either.

Any pointers?

Joking aside ..ask them ! Most will have a interests or hobby you can convers about. My mrs hates it when blokes talk normally to me on here and then just want to talk sex with her

As for messages, go off the profile. Talk about the sexual interests you have in common, but not in detail.

Like, "I'm a (kind of person). I see you're into x. I enjoy x as well, particularly with y" rather than "I'll x you all day, oh baby oh baby"

It also very much depends on what you mean by "older". I'm 33, I'm a fair bit older than you (although I hate being put into the "old" category!), but so would my grandmother, who's pushing 90. Very, very different.

If you can find something in common to talk about, then the conversation will flow. I watch a lot of films, and i chat to my 24yo co-worker about films I have seen and recommend, he reciprocates. It's the same thing with fab meets, find common ground for chat, then move onto the sexy chat later, when it's more appropriate. It gets easier with practice.

I'm 40 I don't class myself as "old not yet anyway!..

If you enjoy the company of older ladies then just be you and conversation will flow.

Not everyone has the same connection with someone that goes for any age!..if the Chemistry is there it's there.x

So, the issue is shyness? That's actually endearing. Use it. "I'm not usually like this but you intrigue me."

Ask about them, not interview style but more, "what takes your breathe away?", "Tell me, if I could cook you the perfect meal, what would it be?","what do you find attractive?", be general, don't bang on about age or experience. You're inked, talk about what the tattoos mean to you.

Read Neil Strauss. A lot of the pick up artist stuff is mysogenistic nonsense but he has some good ideas.

All women like a sincere compliment. Not cheesy but, notice something genuine about them. Light shining off their hair, a cute lisp, a wrinkle when they smile.

FLIRT.

Don't be afraid to walk away early. Don't be clingy. Big turn off.
