Do you think the best way to stop the ever increasing number of time wasters and no shows is to name and shame them? It might make them think about their actions

Will never happen.

Say you ask to meet me.

I say no thanks then you then go name and shame me for being a timewaster ?

NO proof?

No, it won't change a goddamned thing. You've obviously been wound up today/tonight, which sucks. Try not to let the bastards get you down - naming and shaming is against site rules, whether you agree with them or not, "them's the rules"

Happy swinging x

What about the messages between the parties concerned? Would that be proof enough?

Trust me - leave it, get over it, block the offending party/parties and move on.

I'd look at what I can do to minimise the chances of arranging meets that result in no shows. Look at my being processes etc.

There could be away of saying you agreed to a meet.

Ie I send one to you, you accept or reject it. If you accept it and one of us no shows we both get to leave a veri on the meet up. So the no show gets a negative. Seems to work on AW. It could also be a percentage positive and negative like Amazon and eBay sellers. If something like this was on here, you would spot the fakes and fantasist's straight away. Cause lets be honest, they are ruining the site.

"Why didn't you turn up at our meet last night OP? No message, and radio silence all day yesterday. Thanks for wasting my time." There you go, a classic example of naming and shaming. Fortunately not true, you see how easily it could be abused though?

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

What's the proof that the number of time wasters is increasing?

Block and move on. Who knows what's going on with the other party Report to admin if you really feel it would be worthwhile

I know your angry and frustrated but this won't do you any favours later, take the lesson learned and try not to put to much pressure on the meet or your own success.

Fully agree with this .

The minute an agreement is reached between the two parties that they will meet , a box is ticked . By doing so you agree you have agreed to meet at a certain time and place . If you fail to do so a negative is immediately placed on your profile , thereby warning others that you can’t be trusted to turn up even when you say you will . It would make time wasters think twice before doing it .

how many men would turn down a meet if the woman aged to meet but said she won't tick the box? Not many I'd wager

O o O oo

Admin say it won't be allowed on the site, if people are arranging meets and not turning up without letting you know, use the report function on their profile
