Action shots

So... we changed things up a bit recently and added, what I thought were, tasteful action pictures to our profile. Two newbie couples, with whom we were developing relationships via messages aiming for eventual social meets, let us know that they were turned off. The action shots seemed to change us from another fun, slightly naughty, couple into scary hardcore swingers.

Has this happened to you? Should we go back to a more tame profile? Thoughts?

It's entirely personal preference. At the risk of sounding prudish, it's not something that I personally like to see and don't appreciate such images attached to initial messages either.

Im not a fan of action shots, and sometimes put of by them but thats just me...

I think they are fine ,as you have them with a mixture of other pics

Turns me off when a profile has loads of action shots and I can't tell who the actual couple are or its just close ups of bits.

You can't please everyone all the time! Perhaps they were having second thoughts anyway or maybe it highlighted a disparity between your likes compared to their own.

I think that even ona site like this people like to think that despite evidence to the contrary from verifications, they're going to be special to you. They don't like the evidence in their faces that there are others in your play arena. How will they measure up especially if they're inexperienced?

In the end, if something like that scares them off, maybe they weren't for you in the first place

Not everything in a profile is going to appeal to everyone. We’ve all got preferences.

Tbh there’s nothing offensive about those pics. They simply show you doing and enjoying what you’re on the site for.

If potential meets are showing signs of being uncomfortable with that it would be a red flag for me x

We're not a fab of action shots tbh. We'd rather see some tasteful and teasing clothed/partially clothed shots than explicit ones. The explicit bit for us is to be discovered if and when we meet. I think in a lot of cases it's probably more the voyeur side of the profile owner(s) wanting other to see them in action; I mean we probably all have a little of that in us.

We have a mix of action shots and more tame pictures we’d guess it doesn’t affect us as with our regular playing tons of veris etc the prudish, the judgemental and the wanabees stay away from us anyway, which is all good for us

However newbies is a different matter, we try to be gentle and explain that we are just regular people and won’t eat them for breakfast, maybe some of our pics put them off, never mind, in the end it’s just sex, we all do it and we’ve all seen graphic pictures here and elsewhere
