I am very nervous about putting a face pic as a public pic.

Work concerns is the number issue. People in work seeing my profile wouldn't be a good thing. Then again they would be on here to.

Face recognition software. People can use face rec software to pull your face from any internet site. If there is no full face nude or performing pics does it matter.

Any thoughts?

Keep face pics private but show some pics.

Not much chance of wee annie from accounts recognising your left nipple at 400 yards

Dsnt bother me at all, I'm age appropriate, not cheating on a spouse and not doing anything illegal.....and like you said OP how would anyone recognise anyone if they weren't here themselves...

Manchester (she/her)

Not putting your face picture publicly is very normal here.

My face pic is private, due to work and anyone knowing me in the vanilla world. Facepics are only sent to couples and women I intend to meet. Need to be careful with this as well

I keep mine to friend only, then share when I feel comfortable with who I'm talking to

Our face pics are private too and we would never share a ‘rude’ pic with our faces in as you never know where they’ll end up. We value our privacy and our reputations at work etc. but ultimately we would hate to cause any embarrassment to our children - and they’re at ages where their mates join sites like this just to find people they know, such as teachers and friends parents!

Do what you are comfortable with. If you feel really nervous about it, i would recommend not doing it just yet. Not everyone puts a face pic up on their public gallery

Put mine on. Don't care anymore what people see it. I've even come across someone I know on here.

I totally care. I once shared a face pic privately and the guy found me on Facebook and pretended to be interested in something I had listed for sale.

I didn't recognise him so he could have ended up being given my address and coming around on a false pretense which is terrifying

Mine are private but will happily send if I want to chat and get to know and possibly meet someone.

That is scary, I hope you reported him.

Nothing to be done as can't prove it wasn't a genuine enquiry sadly
