So been back on fab since October and I am having a pretty bad time. It was crowned off this week by being stood up in spectacular fashion.

Can anyone help me understand why I am about as appealing as a hat full of wasps?

we had spoke in the past for a couple of weeks. Probably about 5 weeks in total. Just exchanged text messages and pics. We just talked about what we were gonna do to each other, made arrangements to meet and general chit chat. She asked me on the day to prove I was there which I did.

I've been stood up like that once. It fucking sucks and I feel for you man. Since then I've learnt to filter out anyone who is likley to do things like that to me.

I tend not talk too much about sex, I save that for if it happens. Ask lots of questions, maybe talk some sex and lots of flirting, but it's not really the "I'm going to do this to you, you're going to do that to me" Kind of chat. More like the stuff you see on the forum. Skirting around sex, not being so direct. Be subtle.

There are thousands of guys after the same thing has you are, couples and single ladys it can be hard to get meets sometimes but don’t give up I am a older guy but I have got verifications and met so many lovely couples and singles for private meets and at clubs too. You've been around fab for a long time, so know many of the issues for single men, I assume: typically that there is plenty of competition, allowing others to pick from those who have made the effort, who best fits their needs, to go on to meet them.

There are a couple of things from that: it takes a lot of effort, generally, for men to get meets. It largely means intelligent effort, such as attending socials, visiting clubs, contacting the right people via message etc. And next, people with increased choice at their disposal, will have a finite amount of time/energy to make that choice but will still have a growing number of single men that they can pick from. There are winners and losers.

If you are someone with near universal appeal to those people who are also wanted by you, then it's great. There are others who, for whatever reasons, will be less attractive - taste and preference is something that's subjective.

Ultimately op, you need to ask yourself whether you are selling yourself as well as you can, whether there is something missing, that you could be doing, or what adjustments you could be making, so that you can refine your approach.
