Hi! We're just newly verified so starting to get the odd message and wink. Have read the forums for a while though and get the impression that if someone's not verified, it's not worth following up. Is that a fair assessment from fab folks?

I wouldn't say so. In fact by doing that you end up with a chicken and egg situation with unverified members, which doesn't help bring new blood into the scene and make it a fun place to be.

We're always happy to meet unverifieds and verify them on the strength of a 1-1 face to face meeting, and let them get a start in the scene.

Some people see it that way, but we all start out as unverified.

It wouldn't put us off.

We've met plenty of newbies since we've been on here

Thanks for the replies, but we mean without photo verification, rather than a meet verification.

The answers still yes... providing they show up to an initial meet at a pub or cafe - no probs.

Yes, I suppose we're wary of investing time messaging someone who turns out to be fake, but then that's just always a possibility. Thanks for the replies!

Our _iew is that we are on here to meet, and if people have been on here for 6 months without been verified by a meet in person then chances are they aren't going to! Unfortunately there are a lot of fakes & people who like the idea but get cold feet when it comes to meeting... Granted we were all unverified when we started but saying that it didn't take us 6 months to sort that out - let's face it, it's not difficult if your serious about having some fun!

not at all, we were all new once. However it can be one of a number of clues that things are not worth taking further, no pics, very brief profile, no veris, might be worth being cautious about.

it also depends where you live.... people who live in more rural locations may take a little longer as the concentration of others may not be that close.

and a visit to a club and social may not always be that easy.

granted cam and phone are open to more.

You can't really win with this one. Some use verifications competitively to show how popular they are, some have many but only show a few to show they're genuine, and others don't feel they need them because they get meets without having to worry about it.

Personally I'd suggest you use the same skills you use generally to suss people out. There are no guarantees, and even timewasters and doers can have verifications so it doesn't always tell you very much.

All I can say is that I've had very successful meets, some of whom have become good friends, and not a single one had verifications. Just relied on my own powers of deduction and trusted my gut.

Considering you are only looking for single women or FF couples (good luck with that one lol!) I'd suggest that you're best off concentrating your efforts on verified members who have meet verifications with couples.

Couples being let down by single women seems to be one of the biggest sources of frustration on here so stick to people who have some kind of track record - and definitely don't put too much effort into brand new members.

Well there are 2 sorts of verification

Photo which means the users have had to print their username out and take a picture of them with the written out username and send it in. Oddly enough quite hard to fake this (not impossible but quite hard).

Then there is the "other user verification" which people can do by phone, webcam or a meet.

We are both quite new to this and at the start allowed non verified users to message us, but literally all the non verified were time wasters or fakes (for obvious reasons).

If you want to get the most of your site you would be good off limiting those who can wink/friend request/message you to verified users there is no excuse under the sun to not at least be photo verified (you can text a picture off your phone and all sorts).

Just remember though while its a good yardstick there are still plenty that manage to get round it (phone versification etc)

It proves that someone printed a unique name out on a peice of paper and looks similar to the rest of the pictures on a profile.

I have been a member for over Two years, have had quite a few meets and have been 'meet verified' on many occasions.

Have never been photo verified....and it hasn't harmed my participation on the site one iota.....

For a single woman, I'd bring that timescale down to about 6 weeks.

For the benefit of the original poster, I'll say something I often say to single guys who are new to the site: The chances are you won't ever get a meet - so set your expectations accordingly.

Now I'm not implying that there's anything wrong with you or that you're doing anything wrong - merely that single women who meet couples are vanishingly rare and in extraordinarily high demand.

Furthermore it seems that the single bisexual female demographic is populated by more than its fair share of members who are, how should I put this, perhaps not quite as interested in meeting as they would like you to believe. So be prepared for getting more than your fair share of disappointments.

That's why I suggest you stick to the profiles that actually have some track record in meeting couples ...... all 6 of them lol!

Although there's always clubs.

Ff couples are few and far between, but success with single ladies is certainly achievable.

I'd agree to steer clear of brand new members though, as apart from half of them leaving the site within a week or two due to bottling it most receive ten times the amount of mail anyone else does as the fuckwits bombard them thinking "fresh meat! They won't be clued up about 'wanna fuck' not being a decent first message'...

Once again thanks for all the replies, all useful advice.

We know that there will be relatively few genuine women who fit what we're looking for, but there's no rush so it's a matter of keeping fingers and toes crossed!

No and why should it ?

We all have to start somewhere, trying to meet without a veri.
