Can accommodate but....

Hi, I have had promising chats with couples who can not accommodate.

I can accommodate but would only invite new 'acquaintances' into my home after meeting socially first! However on at least two occasions as soon as I have said this I have been 'cut off'. Do you ever meet new Fabbers for the first time in your home?

Some do, but not wanting to is entirely reasonable.

It's your home. If they aren't happy to meet you socialy first so you feel safe to invite them to your home then it's best not to invite them. You can never know for sure who is on the other side of the screen.

Over the roundabout and then turn right.

Your home and your rules. If anyone doesn't see that its best to let them find someone and somewhere else.

I have a Doberman, it’s like having a body guard but i would mostly always do a social first!

So...talking of serial killers.... you think if you met one social they would tell you this on the first meeting ?

It's definitely a social first for me, I can't imagine if it wasn't going well and someone was sitting in my front room

We have never had a social first in the 25 years or so of swinging..We meet at our home or theirs..never once had any trouble or mishaps..of course single ladies have to be more cautious and a social would be always best for them...

Always meet in a social place... if I am comfortable ans they are, no issues coming back to mine.

What's the chances of having three serial killers in the same house though

Perhaps suggest a couple of options, such as your place or a hotel - you may find that some are more accepting of a 3rd party venue, than a strangers home. You could still potentially meet away from the hotel first too, to ensure attraction and confidence to proceed further.

God no! I never meet anyone at home for a first meet. Made that mistake only once before, quite a few years ago from another site. he was nothing like his picture - looked like fake tan, wig & 20 years older than his profile then became abusive after I asked him to leave.

For safety, never again. Always a public social first meet & never take things further unless 100% comfortable.

It's your home and totally up to you who you invite into it. A social in a public place is always a good idea first. If they aren't prepared to make you feel safe and comfortable they aren't worth meeting. Stick to your guns OP. X

Thanks to all who have commented/advised - I am less worried about 'serial killers' (lol) than being able to trust 'strangers' and being confident that they are discrete! A few obviously do meet at home on a first encounter and have not had any problems but I go with the majority, a social meet is essential first. Of course we might well progress to going 'home' and playing from that meet if the attraction and trust is there...! Thanks again OP

I was invited round to a couples home the first time I met them (we had been chatting for some time). Personally it wouldn't be for me, my home is also my kids home and inner sanctuary. But I guess you cant expect of others what you won't give yourself.

This. I was so close to inviting a guy round once but decided not to. When we met he had turned grey since his profile pics where taken had lost 3 inches and gained a beer belly. So thankful I had stuck to my guns.
