Eventually the convosation leads to face pics and sometimes their isn't an attraction from one party to the other. So without one 'taking one for the team' what is the best way to get around this issue?

For us it's being honest and open but do you say sorry Mrs isn't attracted to Mr or vise versa as that might be determined harsh as pointing it out.

Or sorry not for us.. We've had instances where people see ours then block with no return photo or reply which we find rude.

How do you go about it?

Thanks

Northampton Somewhere

I find it a little awkward and prefer to get the face pic swap out of the way very early on in the conversation!

If they are not for me I just say 'thanks for sending but I'm not interested'. That sounds harsh reading it but I've been thanked for even responding before so I guess a lot of people block like you said.

Honesty is the best policy for us! Has to be an attraction across the board or someone is going to be "trying to hard" and it's not going to be enjoyable, and let's be honest it's about having fun!it's not always the easiest subject to broach but I think if you have spoken enough to, you should know how to tell them "gently" without intended offence

It's normally me (Mrs P) doing the chatting so at least it's not as blunt as it could be

I've had several responses to my face pic a polite sorry you're not for us or no offence you're not my type works fine. I've also had too fat no way fatty or urgh go get a face transplant so not so nice. Just be polite I'd say

If people can't understand not everyone is going to fancy everyone - as it's a basic requirement for swinging maybe they shouldn't be on here if a

"sorry not for us" offends

That's a perfectly polite and reasonable message to send in that situation

Then block the ugly buggers ha ha

Watching this space with intrigue lol

I (AJ) don’t find that many guys attractive (fussy bugger I know), always been that way not just fab and can’t even say I have a type. We have sometimes said ‘sorry but your not for us’ well Will did lol and others we have said ‘will let you know when we can meet’ then don’t. Don’t like the thought of telling somebody we don’t find them attractive but not everybody is for everybody and don’t do one for the team.

Sometimes it’s difficult on a photo to properly tell what somebody looks like, sometimes they look more attractive in the flesh and erm sometimes they don’t

We will just say “sorry not for us”. We’ve had that said to us and it’s not a problem - everybody likes different things

And photo shopped is another, how people can turn up to a meet when they have sent dated or edited pics is beyond me

Agreed (Mrs here) I don't find many men attractive (also must be fussy lol), I prefer face to face, personality most the time sparks an attraction for me plus we have came across alot of catfishs on here seen them in clubs and you wouldn't even think they were the same person haha

Hey same for me, personality works for me too on some people I probably wouldn’t have had the attraction to off a pic oh and definitely walked passed a few people in clubs and had to do a double take on them lol as looked nothing like pics

We just say a diplomatic 'sorry but the chemistry isn't there for one of us.'

It hasn't caused us any problems and also avoids hurting someone's feelings directly.

Personally it’s pretty rude and obnoxious fir anyone to say anything more than “sorry not for us” x

We had this tonight ..put face pics up for the first time ...five minutes later, ..an unsolicited mail saying they had seen us about and we were, apparently, tramps...hardly darling...this coming from a profile that was a black silhouette...

We always find honesty is the best policy, so long as it’s done politely.

Pissed us off so much we took the face pic down ...their loss

I believe its better to drop an straight forward reply, some will take a little bit rude some others will appreciate your honesty. But fir sure, at least will be better than going silence out of sudden.

Count us in the 'polite refusal trumps straight-up blocking' camp. We'd rather know if you weren't interested.... and we'd always be up-front and honest if we weren't, too.

I prefer to get a face pic early on in the conversation. It saves a lot of ping pong chit chat if there's no attraction.. This works both ways. We can't all be attracted to the same people can we?

"Sorry not for us" then block. That's what we prefer to receive so that's what we'd send although I don't think it's actually came to that. Quite happy to meet for a social first as you never know what the chemistry will create.

I once received "Sorry, I'm not immediately attracted to you?" To which I replied "Well, take your time......"

Aha! And always bear in mind with Fab, that the date in someone's photo gallery on a pic, is the date it was uploaded here, NOT necessarily the date the image was taken! I once arrived at the home of a lady who purported to be 51, and when she opened the door, I almost asked if her daughter was in........

Ours are on our profile we tend to think if people message they like the look of us both. We ask for a face pic in opening message if we don’t get one we don’t reply if we get one and they aren’t for us we tend to leave it unread.

Thanks for all the replies.... It seems most of us are all singing off the same song sheet of honesty is the same policy and a 'sorry not for us' will do. X

Put a face pic in your profile photos for all to see. No problem that way.
