Tips on sorting time wasters..

Hi, we have had a succession of time wasters.. it’s hard to find an appropriate Bi Guy that we both like and feel comfortable with.. we have attempted long chats requesting socials ect but I just wondered what others do? One suggestion to me from another user was to ask for a picture with a newspaper or in a specific pose such as touching nose.. the last time waster was a guy that messaged for a week arranged a social the went silent two days before meet, it just seems strange!

We’ve been asked to pose in certain ways ...we point blank refuse. If our verifications aren’t enough to prove we’re genuine they can do one

I tend to ask to cam or chat on the phone. Mostly because I find it easier to get a feel for someone and how we would get on but also people taking the piss are less likely to agree.

As we don't have a lot of time to meet/play we have decided that all first meets will be when we attend a club. If people don't turn up you don't feel annoyed as you would have been going anyway. Granted, not everyone is into clubs but works for us

Ahh a performing seal to get a shag. I'm sure some will go for it. Others may just be offended. Why not just go on cams, so you can prove to each other that you are genuine, if you are that concerned?

You get lots of Time wasters in Cam Rooms as well. Video chats one on one will give you a better idea about chemistry, if you're brave enough.

When it comes to meeting, it's all about experience in picking the right people and blind luck.

I'm not very good on camera, I feel very put on the spot for a few minutes, if I've never done it. It eases off though. Not something I do with everyone, it's nice though, if your personalities gel.

I always ask for a Kik video chat or a Skype video call (I don't have to give my number out then).

If guys are well verified with plenty of clear face pics, I'm happy to skip a video call and arrange to meet for a social x

All good ideas to identify if they are a person as opposed to a bot.

A timewaster will do whatever they feel like to get their kicks. You can't tell even by a posed pic or video chat if they will actually turn up or actually be bi.

Verifications are probably your best bet, or go to clubs.

I’m amazed to hear you two have been stood up - what hope for the rest of us?

The only thing which has worked for us over three years and two profiles is always having a phone call with numbers clearly displayed. That goes a long way to sorting out serious people who do want to meet and aren’t looking for a quickie while the wife of at yoga etc etc etc.

Even people who are genuine sometimes cancel or don't show up. When I used to meet outside of clubs I would get them to have a chat on cam so we could make sure we had a visual attraction, it was beneficial to both sides.

If we are unsure we always chat on kik and use kik cam. If they refuse then it’s probably not worth meeting them and it’s best to look elsewhere

"Succession" seems a lot. Can you go back to the profiles of the ones that wasted your time ? See what they have in common, see if there were red flags that you maybe overlooked in the eagerness and excitement of meeting. Use this as a learning curve to "know better next time."

And is it really timewasting ? If you are looking for a holiday is time spent looking at brochures or online wasted ? Should Spain be upset because you chose Florida ? If an unexpected prize holiday turned up in the post for your dream holiday would you feel bad blowing off Florida ? Would you expect Florida to go online and complain about you ?

On a separate issue does Lemsip stop working if you reheat it in the microwave .... I'm dying.

For us single guys time wasters is an epidemic,I delete all the nine photo lot, as the ones with good photos are so upfront,nothing to hide and ate not tied down by sneaking around thier partners back, thus is the main problem

All asking them to pose would is prove they where a member and can post a photo.. There is no sure fire way to prevent time wasters.. Its just part of the "joys" of using this site

First meet at a club takes away some of the time wasted issues if they don't show. If someone has already met you for a social and back out of the meet right before then I don't think there's any way to avoid that really.
