Chest waxing and newly pierced nipples

Near Manchester Airport

I had my nips pierced 8 weeks ago and they seem to be healing well. I now have a dilemma in that I want to get a chest wax; does anyone know whether this would have an adverse effect on my nipples and whether i should delay my waxing and if so for how long. Any advice or first hand knowledge would be appreciated.

Don't do it. It's the most painful thing I've EVER experienced. I almost punched the Beauty Therapist.

I’m a waxing technician. Your nipples can’t be waxed anyway. You can be waxed providing the surrounding area isn’t affected by your nipple piercing such as swelling, bruising, infection etc.

The wax won’t be applied near your nipples and any long hair in that area can be removed by tweezers.

If I’m waxing near piercings, I cover them with a towel to ensure they don’t get caught.

Hello, maybe consider home laser hair removal. ..you can get these in boots and this method offers a longer hair free period if you persist and follow the instructions. The way it works is you shave first, then move the device over your skin, there's a small warm sensation but not painful like waxing. No down time, and just avoid nipple area/ cover. Winter is a good time for laser as it's not advised during sun exposure x
