Ok ladies of a certain age have you found it more tricky to cum post menopause? I've always took a while but oral was a safe bet and from intercourse if they lasted long enough! However post menopause oral just won't do it anymore

. It still feels good but just can't get over the line as it were. Can still get off with a vibe and sometimes from intercourse if the guy can hold out long enough and generally if I'm on top. I know that there are changes following menopause less blood supply etc but has anyone struggled with this and found a solution. I'm wondering if a clit clamp might help?

I went to see my doctor she proscribed some hormone that you rub into your inner thigh.

I feel your pain but in my case I can’t blame hormones well at least I don’t think I can

It takes me ages to cum and being honest usually run out of steam first

I know it’s not suitable for every woman but HRT has worked wonders for me. I also take Macca Root everyday x

I take it in capsule form for that very reason x

My O are not the same or as intense and I’ve zero sex drive.

Tried HRT but as I’m on another drug sadly they counteract and I can’t take it. Certainly didn’t know about the Gel(will investigate)

Heard Black Cosh is good but my main problem is the hot flushes.

Heard Black Cosh is good but my main problem is the hot flushes.

Totally sympathise with you re the hot flushes. Black cohosh can help with those so well worth a try.

My sister can’t take hrt but swears by a hormone gel that she gets from a company called Wellsprings. Also got a couple of friends who have used it with good effect. X

They do change certainly mine are very hard fought for but last longer and are more intense so I guess I’m lucky in that respect. I’m already on the pessaries for dryness so can’t take any other hormones. Have also had to have laser treatment otherwise there would be no sex at all. Vag atrophy is very common yet never talked about. “Lose it or use it” ladies. I thought I might never be able to have sex again but at least it gave me the kick up the arse I needed to get myself out there!!

Exactly the same here. I have to use lube and lots of it. I’ve tried pessaries too from boots which I found good.

As in headaches or in having a head like a sieve these days? Certainly feel like I’m turning into my mother which is worrying!
