Dear All

I am having a flare up of chronic pelvis pain syndrome or chronic prostatis

It’s very painful to ejaculate and when I do the whole pelvic area is in discomfort for some time. Just wondered if there were any of you on here with similar problems and how did you find best to alleviate or clear up the symptoms. Doctor said there isn’t much out there that is a cure so to speak.

Very frustrating as the discomfort makes sex difficult and I just love playing

There is research into Myofascial Trigger Point sel-help therapy working taught be physiotherapists ... might be worth looking into?

Yes I had just looked into that. Docs can find no infections it is likely a muscular problem. Been so frustrating when it flares up and does feel like a muscle spasm

Thanks for all your advice. I have refrained from masturbating for 3 days now to give prostate and muscles a rest and aim to book a myofascial trigger point therapy treatment ASAP including internal pressure points

Found a nearby therapist who does trigger point release massage. Including internal massage. Very weird sensations but it did prove how knotted my pelvic muscles had become and does seem to have helped. Will continue with myofascial trigger point therapy for a few months
