Catfishes / Fakes

How do you guys respond/deal with actual, definite, provable catfishes/Fakes?

To me it's obvious when someone is a fake and I admit I like to try reel them in and then present them with the evidence but it's so frustrating dealing with them day in day out.

Even people that are photo verified then put up fake pics... argh!

If I have suspicions about someone, I'd try to establish if I was correct.

It's not really that hard.

If they are, report & then block.

Personally wouldn’t bother going to the effort of trying to reel them in - simply report and forget. That will reduce your frustration a little, hopefully.

seems to me your inviting headaches... make a decision fairly quickly, block or keep replying. i wouldn't entertain a fake the second i thought this isnt right.

I've done this a few times (reeled them in that is!) mostly out of boredem. Actually had some random use pics of a good friend of mine, had fun watching them. Try to explain their way out of it.

Not something I have made a habit of though, as others have said they are generally not worth the effort.

Sometimes i will peruse some pics and tin eye them, if I'm bored. I don't converse with them though. I just report.

Sometimes i will peruse some pics and tin eye them, if I'm bored. I don't converse with them though. I just report. "

I used to do this years ago.

Couldn't keep up.

As soon as pics were taken down new ones would be up.

The first time I started using this site I had my experience with a catfish (I just wanted to meet someone so bad) that's why I kept messaging back I thought it seems to good to be true messaged prety much all evening then a few messages clicked and I realised now I can tell although not had many trying it on

If I'm thinking of meeting someone, I will ask for a video cam chat first

When I was on as a single guy, a potential meet was too good to be true, so thought I was going to be catfished. Decided to meet anyway, taking the view that if wasn't for real, it was about them not me - it was for real with a gorgeous girl with an amazing personality. It was the best meet ever, with the best sex ever!
