New to shaving pubic area and did it for first time a few weeks ago (after a bit of a blood bath) have to admit it feels good but a pain to do all the time.

Some one sugested I use cream, is there any advice on which to use or advice on best options?

I use Intimate cream, it's about £12 a pack but it's good for what it does. Shaving down there is far too much upkeep lol

Wtf 40 year old never shaved

U should use a shaver like a cliper or trim it so u don't get a rash don't know about cream tho as I never use it

Loathe shaving. I react bad most times. Going for my first wax Friday morning. Got nothing to loose.

Magic powder is quite good. Cheaper than above and is for Afro hair so...

never felt the need untill I was asked once so tried it like it but not up keep. I tried clippers to do bulk first time but was worried about slipping

thanks gem not sure I feel comfortable going for a wax yet plus my eyes are watering just thinking about it. Let us know how it goes though would be intrested.

(Had a normal Turkish shave real strange when they burn last bits but great quality just not there)

One of my male work colleagues used imac and he said his balls were burning for days . He could hardly walk lol. I don't know what's worse using it or admitting it to the lads in the office pmsl .

I put coconut oil for a few minutes,then wipe it out with a wet wipe and put shaving cream ,leave it on for a few seconds and then shave...And use cold water to wash it off..No razor burn and the skin stays soft like a baby...A friend recommended it months ago...It works for me...

Tried waxing once but couldn't finish it and ended up shaving

Finished it off the next day with shampoo and a normal razor.

I'm with Overlander on this. It feels wonderful. Especially moisturising afterwards.

But it is also a MAJOR pain. I get quite a rash after a few shaves, although I figured out that using an exfoliating face wash to thoroughly scrub your bits before you use the (sharp, clean, hot) razor helps.

I shave for a few weeks, then let it grow back a bit, then shave again. A change is as good as a rest ??

We have sensitive skin so use Magic Powder Platinum. Works a treat, especially around the sensitive bits that you don't want to nick with a razor.

Better than foam and invest in aprís apricot scrub and top quality blades, Mach3 is my weapon of choice.

Savlon antiseptic cream (cos you WILL cut yourself) and decent moisturiser (nivea is a good choice) and thats pretty much your tool kit.

Hot water and towel and away you go.

The more you do it the less the rash.

Thanks for all the great advice people. Not sure about professional waxing i'm sure it gets great results but not ready for that just yet

Look into the Philips one shave electric trimmer, impossible to nick yourself or get shaving rash because it's designed not to go blade close.

I once used Veet for Men. Well within the recommended time I had to wash it off, it was burning my sack and crotch. Had a rash for days.

Cream burnt me to the point where my skin blistered

I'm super sensitive to shaving (I've tried various techniques).

Professional hot waxing is the way forward. Make sure they use Lycon wax. Absolutely no redness or soreness afterwards x

I (Mr B) usually use a beard trimmer on the shortest setting. However sometimes, when nothing but the smoothest of finishes will do, I go over it with a razor and shaving gel (just the same as doing your face). It can get itchy as it grows back though - as if a man needs any more excuses to stratch his balls!
