We've been to Fata Morgana. Expensive but really good and all drinks are included in your entrance fee.

It has been awhile since I have been there but the B1 cinema on Reguliersbreestraat, near the Munt Tower, can be quiet good for those interested in the adult cinema scene and was a bit less sleezy than the ones in the Red Light District.

The cinema is split over 3 floors above the B1 sex shop. The 1st floor showed straight films whilst I understand the upper floors were bi/gay orientated but I can't confirm this as my then travelling partner was keen on investigating those or being left alone whilst I did.

We were there a few years ago - the cinema looked very dodgy, but we had a good time at the Sameplace club.

Amsterdam is a great place to visit.

strange things to watch out for.

if you ask for , watch the reaction, they make think you meant the drug. so ask for coca cola instead.

coffee shops

they are what you expect them to be. green things in the sugar.

red light district

it's hilarious, to watch the tour groups been taken around the area, like its a normal tourist attraction.

drugs in general

they are around and you will see them so be careful

general safety

watch the areas you go to and be vigilant for things going on around you. pick pockets etc.
