Club advice please!

I'm a single female and would really like to try a club, I've checked the websites and FAQs of the clubs near me but would really like recommendations and any advice or tips for a club virgin!

I'm leaning towards Xtasia at the moment purely because it seems easiest for me to get to since I don't drive.

I'm also a little nervous about going as a plus-size woman, I know the clubs have specific BBW nights but I can't make it to the ones in the near future. I'm not so much asking my chances of getting lucky so much as if i'm likely to get abuse or cold shoulder from other people in the club.

As a plus size woman you'll be fine. Different people like different things, of course, but it's unlikely you'll be treated badly because of it. BBW night or not, you should be fine.

If you're going alone, my advice would be to be careful. Clubs are usually very safe places (safer than one on one) and most people are respectful... but there's a small subset who aren't. Make sure nothing happens without your consent, including trying bareback. As a woman you have a lot of social capital in clubs, so feel free to enforce your bodily autonomy (verbally) and you'll be backed up.

That being said, clubs are almost always fantastic, liberating places and I wish I'd done it years ago.

I've been to clubs before on my own--It is TERRIFYING the first time, but the surge of exhilaration once there is great. That confidence is certainly something to be proud of!

I haven't haven't to Xtasia, so can comment on it specifically, but reviews always look great.

What I've found is that not only are staff very helpful, so are other patrons. If one guy won't respect your "no thanks," a dozen others jump up to support you.

I'm also plus sized, and have never had a negative experience.

Go for it, have fun, and just enjoy!

Xtasia was always our favourite. Drop the a line if you've any questions and if you browse the meet posts around the time you plan on going you'll usually find details of others going. it's a pretty safe 'entry point' to clubs as it's not dress down (towel/lingerie) so you're under no pressure to get naked. I'd suggest maybe a couples or one of the themed nights for your first time as the mixed nights can be daunting for first timers. Just go with an open mind and no expectations and you'll be fine.

I've been to xtasia as a single female on my own, was made to feel so welcome by all the staff. Your size will not be any issue to anyone. Got there around 8.30 and was shown around.i work a nice dress as I wanted to feel comfy and took a change if clothes (undies). I changed after a few hrs into a night very short dress and undies. Never played, had offers but I was not ready. did chat to many members. Hopefully going back next Sat night and will hopefully have some fun!!!

My advise, is a club where you all have the same thing in common...

Because there are idiots everywhere. But in a club you have backup, one on one you don't.
