How can I remove fake veris off my account and summary?

I was shocked to find I had a new veri today off someone I have never met or webcammed with. I have spoken in message on here but that is all. I had the same problem not long after I rejoined. That is two now.

Only guessing here, but as you seem quite popular on the hot photos list they probably left it in the hopes you'll display it, then in turn more people would pay them some attention. Seems a fairly desperate effort but some will go to any lengths haha

There needs to be an option to refuse fake veris when they are sent or something like that. I don't want them on my account or summary.

By reporting fake veris you are helping Admin find out who is sending them, so that they can deal with

I do not use the veri's but I am shocked to hear that basically anyone can verify you saying whatever they want and it gets put on your profile without first being asked if you want it.

That is appalling. People are advising you to just hide the veri but why should you. When I see people have hidden veri's I assume they have something to hide. So hiding it could reflect badly on you.

Again hiding your summary also makes people suspicious so again why should you do it to hide the fact that your hiding veri's you never asked for.

I assumed you had to accept a veri before it could be given to you.

Let us know if admin remove it or not. I really want to know if people can just do this to what is your profile..... Not their profile.

Just to say that not all 'hidden' veris are being, er, hidden. They disappear and only show up in the summary if whoever gave them leaves the site and deletes their profile. I wish the site would allow them to be kept with an explanatory note saying that was the case and thus distinguishing them from those intentionally hidden, but currently there's no way to tell the difference.

I certainly agree that veris should be refusable! But in any circumstances people providing fake ones absolutely need reporting.

I’ve had this same problem before.. as one previous Fabber commented it was exactly because they thought it would boast their own views and more potential meets.

I refused to verify them and they had the nerve to get funny about it as they’d “verified me” despite only a couple of messages sent between us

I reported it and they were removed as I personally don’t want lots of verifications when I’ve not met many people x

I had 3 veris from people I have never met, I reported them & 1 was removed.

The other 2 are still there. Of course I don't display them but I don't display my summary either now as it's not accurate.
