Local Updates and Pics

I see lots of local updates as I expect, but never see anything I've added. Just wondering, does a new pic or remark I've made automatically show on other peoples local updates, but not on mine? Anyone help?

Thanks for that. It seems rather obvious in hindsight, and what I expected but thought I should check. Saw no point in posting enticing (? lol) stuff on there and no-one was seeing it.

Can’t you tell from all the messages you receive when you post a new picture ?
