Shy male thinking of going to Cupids on sat!.

Hi guys shy single male thinking of plucking up the courage to go to Cupids on Saturday night!. Any advice or things to put my nerves at ease never tried anything like this before!!!.

Yeah I realise nothing is guaranteed I have read reviews about pushy single males etc!. I am a polie guy and friendly just a bit shy!. To be honest I think the hardest part for me will be getting through the door!!.

Our advice would be yourself and make sure you chat to people. Do not be one of the towel twitchers that stands in the corridor waiting to pounce... hope you enjoy it as it is a good club

If you mean walking into any other sex club then yes your right. If you mean it's no different than walking into any other vanilla club then I'd have to disagree! It's completely different.

How many people got nervous walking into their first ever club when you were younger? Not many I'd guess unless they were under age and were worried they wouldn't get in.

How many people were nervous about going to a swinging club for the first time? I bet a lot more people put their hand up that time!

Let's not bullshit the man. It can be quite daunting at first. How will you get talking to people, will people like the look of you, if you play will you be able to perform, will the women think I'm to small etc.......

I'm sorry but I don't remember having all that shit to think about when I was walking into a night club for the first time

All I can say to you is relax. There's no pressure to do anything and you'll find a lot of people there in the same boat as you. The only pressure you'll have is the self indused pressure you put yourself under so try and relax.

You may find that you don't play on your first visit and just watch. Just make sure you're aware of the rules and that you're well manared and polite and you won't have any problems

One last thing. Don't down loads of alcohol to try and calm your nerves. There's nothing worse than someone, male or female, who's shit faced and making a show of themselves. If you want to get shit faced go to a night club

Look at the club rules on their web site or call them. Each club has different rules. Some need you to call first before turning up. Some will want id. Some will just allow you to turn up on the night with money in your hand

Sorry just realised you mentioned cupids. I know when I went there I just paid on the door, no id, but then I was part of a couple so not sure if it's the same for single men. Like I said, look at their website

Thanks man great posts pretty much says what's been going through my head!. Will have to see if I go for it or not, I know I will one day won't be this week if id is required as I am up here working and don't have any!! Will look into it!. Thanks again for all the answers!!.

speaking as a single woman i get very frustrated if i go to a club full of single guys (what i'm looking for if i'm on my own) and none of them will do more than a little nervous eye contact. then the next day my inbox is full of messages telling me how good i looked...

clubs have areas which are purely social. if someone catches your eye say hello, tell them you're nervous, hell even talk about the weather! it doesn't all have to be naughty stuff, but you'll notice later in the evening that the single guys who make an effort to converse are the ones most often invited to play. and if you're talking to couples make sure you talk to both of them!
