Why isn't adding photos an option?

Every mobile phone has a camera these days so photos are easy to take. Whilst you have a need for discretion you can have lots of images and still maintain your anonymity. You don't need to display public face pictures, just have a few body pics instead and send a face pic privately to people you get chatting with.

Without any public pictures on your profile you will struggle regardless of how good your profile text and first messages are.

No much more you can do, I’m afraid....

I got a decent enough message from someone who wants a social- nice message, asking if I’d be interested to meet up for a drink, see if there’s a spark, etc. I said not without seeing a face photo first. He said he can’t send any because of work/family issues, discretion, etc. I said fair enough, I wish you luck in your search. He kept insisting, people tell me I’m good looking, etc, but with no photo(s) there’s no chance with me.

So... good luck in actually arranging a meet. You’re going to need it!

Just a pic of eyes gives nothing away,you sound attached so that will automatically rule you out to many.

We can all add pics,they don't have to give you away op.

You will struggle if you have no public pics, you don't have to show your face in them. Loads of great male profiles with great pics, those are the ones that get attention, but good luck

Being brutally honest OP your profile tells it's reader nothing about you - add to that the lack of pics (as already mentioned) and I don't see your prospects changing a great deal in future.

It's not a pre-requisite of course but unless your profile grabs interest and tells people a little about you, what you are looking for, and what you think you can offer and is backed up by a decent set of pics that show off your body (doesn't have to be your face) the odds are stacked against you.

You could always try clubs or group socials I guess

I see why you would think that, but my reason was after seeing other posts sometimes spiral out and end up in arguments, I wanted just some private advice
