iv just realised i think im becoming swing shy

pmsl its been a while since we had a play meet.... anyone else find they had a revert back to the initial swinging shyness? and how did you overcome it? xx bonny

I don't think its shyness but a knock in confidence I am a bit like that at the moment.

not good is it? im thinking after maybe a bit of a change... little less choccy pmsl and throwing myself at a meet in a few weeks a might be ok... i think its us women... lol no offence to anyone at all... We can just be bloody awkward :/

I think a lot feel like that at times

I mainly use clubs because i just find im more confidant there as people can see you in the flesh, tho i do do private meets i find them very hard as i get so nervous around new meets, im always scared they wont like me in real life

I suppose all you can do is arrange a meet and see how it goes

We had a barren 2011, mainly due to family stuff, but have a meet lined up for next Saturday.

I'll start getting nervous around midweek and by Saturday morning I'll be shitting myself

im the other way round in clubs i like but always shy to ask if they are interested in playing

Every meet, I have a nervous stomach the whole day. It is the excitement and anticipation.

In clubs I try to push myself. Approach a group of people or the best looking, out of my league female.

Shyness and confidence are bedfellows. If it was easy , it wouldn't be half as rewarding, so go for it.

We both get a case of the butterflies before a meet, even if we have already met them before.

My butterflies usually start a few days before.

Doesn't take long for them to go once we have met up....

As we have children and other commitments we don't get to play as often as we would like.

We recently went to Chams and both of us were really nervous before we went but had a great evening,so its good to know we're not the only ones who still get nervous

I always get like it.. every meet I get nervous like its my first..

even sometimes with people I have been playing with for a while..

I hadnt had sex with anyone for three months and i was really nervous about meeting someone the other day, even though i had met him once before. Anyway i enjoyed myself and now i dont feel so nervous about meeting someone else.

Oh iv always got butterflies before a meet. I love swinging... And really enjoy meeting people. I just go shy... Like posters have said. I think its more of a confidence thing because we haven't met for a while due to me been in and out of hospital. But i do really wanna get back into it... Have seen some very good looking couples too

if someone doesn't have the slightest bit of nerves before a meet no matter how long you've been meeting. You must be hard as nails... I think its the initial nerves that make a meet better. Or so it was for us in the past and we have been playing for about 3 years

Same here also I think for a single guy it gets worse! Always concerede about performance size etc and obviously wanting to make a good impression, I m sure Ill get into the swing of things if anyone ever answers lol !

As a single woman, I get scared of new meets! Never knowI g if ur boundaries will be respected and so on! Words r easy said on here but u just never know do u! Always try to meet in public but it really isn't always possible!

Thankfully always had good meets with fab men! Have heard some horror stories though! Mostly on other sites!

For me it is a loss in confidence...for the last year or so. I don't know wether I am a vanilla with kinks or a swinger who is not kinky.

I have put on a bit of weight 88 kg for 6 2 guy so not overly heavy but enought to make worry.

Last year I did have a few play meets but from June onwards. I just haven't been bothered. Don't get me wrong I want to but the butterfly are the and I can't seam to get rid of them

A few men i have met have been too pushy and too rough, so i am more careful about who i meet now.

You shouldnt miss out on having fun, lots of people on here are slightly overweight and it doesnt bother them too much.

i think it's quite natural to have worries and self confidence issues before any meet

it's how you manage them that is important - or if it is the other person that is nervous, how you make them feel.

i have had people come in and literally sit on the couch and shake with nerves and managed to turn them into successful meets.

in fact, i quite like seeing nerves in someone as to me it makes them human - would much sooner have that than have a guy walk in who is unzipping his pants before he's even said 'hello'

I must be odd as I never get nervous, excited yes, but no nerves.

I always meet socially, so when we arrange to meet they already know what they're getting.

At the moment my hair needs doing, eyebrows waxed etc, so don't feel at my best, so won't meet anyone new til I've had a visit to my fabulous stylist Nadine.

Actually I like nerves a but I think its anticipation if enjoying the person opposite hmm. However I always meet, so.many talk about it and then no response to texts. Im now more cautios about who I meet. Prefer genuine open people who just text back to arrange, then worry about nerves lol

I've had a fair few meets in the last 4 month and everyone is different. I struggle to get involved at clubs as I fear rejection/embarassement so would rather not ask and wait to be asked if I would like to play. I know this reduces my options but hey it seems to work for me.

Private meets are different, I still have some nerves but they are less as I know there is already an attraction from the messages we have already shared.
