If you have someone on your favourite list & they've disappeared would that happen if they change their profile name

Same thing if you've messaged someone & they change their name what happens to the details on messages?

they would only dissapear from your friends list if they have blocked you or left the site, if you have a message in your in/sent box from them it will say "user no longer on site" if they have changed their user name nothing would change but their name.... hope that makes sense
