I’m setting up a couples profile and we are both struggling to think of a username! We want something sexy but with a funny twist maybe?

Do usernames put people off sometimes?

Yes definitely some names put me off, we chose ours from a scene we love in Alan Partridge but in hind sight people don’t get the link and maybe it makes us sound a bit full of ourselves

Lots of usernames turn us off. Anything like fanny smasher or cum guzzling hoe bag etc are just turn offs lol

Also usernames where they call themselves hot etc aren’t the best

We only tend to swerve the daddy's girl ones, or ones about sub's and stuff as we don't really get it and find playing with people who've an unequal balance of power in their relationship seems weird, not faulting them it's their business just isn't for us.

Other than that some of the hot couple, fit couple etc come across as a bit full of themselves at first but generally they are a hot couple and it's not like they're saying they're the hottest couple in the world or perfect couple just that they make an effort which is fair enough I guess.

As for choosing one we've been here a year and are still using the quick combination of our initials whilst waiting to think of a better option. All of the beauty and beard/beast ones which obviously spring to mind have been done a thousand times and the self depricating ones which amuse me the mrs thinks people either won't get or I'm the only person they'll amuse.

The good thing is you can keep changing it every time you think of a better one, it's not set like most things.

Yep, some names definitely put us off. I agree with an earlier post that anything with cum, jizz, hung, slut, whore, hot, sexy, fit etc. in the name doesn’t appeal.

Ours is a reference to our love of toys (and Ed’s manhood).

Yes some usernames put us off, anything too graphic or demeaning is an instant turn off.

Ours is pretty straight forward we live in Tyne & Wear and are a couple. We did have a few alternatives but the were too obscure.

One thing to keep in mind is not to be too clever unless you're sure it works. We talking to a lovely chap at a social and swapped user names as you do. We found his was based on a reference that was supposed to be ironic but completely passed us by, and ours has proven to be easy to get wrong/too many other similar names. It means something to us but in retrospect perhaps something more distinctive might have been better.
