I love oral....giving and receiving BUT what of the STD issue?

It’s only a matter of time and a numbers game when meeting with people we don’t really know that well.

So my question is what’s the general consensus here....do most go bare enjoy it and hope for the best?

Precautions if any?

Should do, but I don't always. I think very few people even know what they are, let alone where to buy them.

There was a radio program on this morning about the increase in STIs, and even on the program while they mentioned condom use they didn't mention dams.

In all the times I've been to the doctors and been offered free condoms I've never ever been offered dams.

Seems to be a safe sex blind spot for a lot of people .

I would never have sex without a condom but will happily give oral without one(prefer it) I do understand it is a risk but its one I'm obviously prepared to take.

At the end of the day it's personal choice but people do seem to have their head in the sand re STI transmission via oral

Thats absolutely great... But equally, surely the whole point is to enjoy whatever we choose to do? I, personally don't like spunk, nobody has ever complained and my solo profile had over 300 very positive verifications, proving that some, at least, were perfectly happy to play safer until I was ready to otherwise.

Indeed it’s a personal choice but I suppose I’m worried about the chances of getting something......horrible thought...I guess constant testing is the positive step ??

I would venture to suggest that if you get them out at any point , you’re unlikely to find a woman who wouldn’t be offended by you’re suggestion to use it .

One of the things we always said about swinging is that if it ever got to be no fun any more then we would stop . The thought of someone placing a dental dam in my wife’s pussy to perform oral is about as much fun as having a filling with no anaesthetic . Yep , can’t argue with that .

But one assesses the risk to pleasure ratio .

If the pleasure is no longer there , then the risk may be taken , and in most cases is .

And that’s the reality .

If we don’t want a risk at all , we don’t do what we all do . Dental dams won’t stop herpes , and you’re as likely to get an sti from snogging if the recipient has sore gums or has excessively brushed their teeth . Should we use dams to kiss too ?
