Attending my first house party tomorrow night with a FWB. It's a small affair (which suits me) with only two other couples whom neither of us have met before.

It'll start off as a wine and tapas do before things heat up.

Any tips, advice or valuable experience to share would be appreciated.

I agree with the above.

We went to a party at which we knew neither the hosts or the other guests and would say in that situation it's best to remain completely open minded. I would also recommend that you agree with each other beforehand the boundaries you each have in respect of playing with other people.

It's also a good idea to ask the hosts if there's separate social and play spaces etc.

Fact is a small gathering all will expect it to turn into an orgy with everyone involved, get all your ducks in line before you go, if the others don’t take your fancy make a quick, polite exit, if you both decide it’s for you, get stuck in

I certainly go with no expectations either way.

The hosts, who are well-verified (on a different site) seem very cautious. They haven't even told us who the third couple are, so I guess keeping a very open mind is the order of the evening, and being ready for a surprise!

Wear something you are very comfortable in and you feel like you look good in, take a separate outfit to change into if you feel like you'd like to wear slightly less.

Take one or two interesting sex toys if you have them, as they are a great way of getting the conversation started and also taking things a little bit errotic without making a big plunge.
