Private pics and privacy issues

Just wanted to get peoples view on what happened to us a few weeks ago.

A guy we have known for a while, lillie (myself) met him a few times, we had some fun in hotel etc he took some pics on his phone and sent them to me then apparently deleted them. Stupid me for being so gullible!! He posted his new profile pic with my face in it on his profile!! We asked him politely to take it down which he did but no apology nothing!! I'm really annoyed with myself for trusting him to have deleted them.

We only show our faces to people we want to meet not to advertise to the whole site who we are. Rant over ...

I have only taken photos at someone else's request and always delete after I have sent them...

At the moment... while her phone is in for repairs... I am the keeper of a friend's videos and pictures... to be sent on when she requires them... they are hers and not mine...

Even if a meet wanted me to take pics I wouldn't or wouldnt let them unless I was 1000% sure they were private.

you can be sure that every pic ever taken and shared is still around and even those you havnt knowingly shared public pics for example

Sorry that this has happened to you.

I really worried when you see single guy profiles with various women in pictures.

I do wonder if they have specific permission to be put on a swingers site or anywhere on the net. Could this not be as regarded revenge porn and a criminal offence?

For me, personally seeing the other women he’s fucked in the past is not a turn on.

If anyone wanted to take photos of me, id get them to do it on my phone so I can control the images and then only send them the ones I was happy to go public

Sadly they do, this particular guy had also contacted our veris to find out if they would meet him, hence why now we have hidden our veris.

Big lessons learned here, I wrote on the forum as I dont want others to make the same mistake, I should of just kept to the rule used my own phones, nevermind it's done now

When I have had pics done with a woman or couple they have always asked if they could use them on profile etc.

Common courtesy.

I agree with all these points... never comfy until photos taken are sent and then deleted...

Sadly you will find some people have little or no respect for others. I would guess very few actually delete photos after taking them though even if asked otherwise why take them in the first place.

Thankyou for posting this It may help others from having a similar upsetting situation by saying no to photos.

I have a rule, no face pics of me Tobe taken and go through them afterwards. Sounds like you met a bad advert of a single man. Thanks for sharing OP and lessons learnt. ??
