"any advice on why you feel nervous and how you beat the butterflies"

I've been lucky to meet a few times and to this day I still get extremely nervous. Just remind yourself that you came on fab just for that very reason and if she wanted to she could meet someone else but had chose you for a reason so be yourself, be brave, be bold and enjoy yourselves.

If you’re honest with your pics and age.... you have nothing to worry about....

Just make sure not to eat anything with garlic before a meet and always carry mints...

I get nervous for a exam or a new job.

Not when I'm going to meet up for a filthy fab time.

I never get nervous - excited maybe. Perhaps because I've been doing this for so long and it's just a matter of experience.

This is one reason we do not mind meeting newbies over hardened swingers, eventhough we have been swinging for years.Their nervousness brings excitement and unexpectedness to a meet and makes them more interesting and the meet more exciting for us too.

If it's a social meet, get there earlier than the specified time. Gives you a moment to compose yourself. In the past I've met at pub/restaurants, haven't been driving so got a drink.

Both of those have helped me x

Good luck x

You feel nervous because its a new and exciting situation that you haven't been in before or not many times anyway. There's only one way to beat the butterflies and that's take a deep breath, remind yourself this is what you really want and take the plunge.

There and to the left a bit

The day I stop being nervous/excited before a meet OP is the day I need to stop - nerves are a good thing, help keep you grounded and focussed. Just remember the other person is probably just as nervous as you are

Go! Sometimes its just a matter of do or die. Life is to short. What's the worse that can happen? Even if it doesn't go as planned you'll leave with more experience for next time.

Nerves are normal and keep things real.

Even as a couple we get nervous about a meet and it's what keeps it real.

When the nerves stop then it's probably time to stop swinging.

I haven’t met on here yet but in other sites I’ve just had to embrace them and have a glass of Dutch courage. Only one glass!

But I think it’s always best to embrace the nerves and think positively about what’s going to happen rather then negatively. That always helps.

Nerves are natural. Even get nervous with current and past fb’s. It’s normal to feel like this

Tell yourself nervous excitement is a brilliant feeling. You want to worry when you don't get them feelings anymore. The build up to a meet is all part of it we think. We are off to Attic in Derby this Saturday and the butterflies are just starting. We go to the attic on a semi regular basis as well. Its all just brilliant

The best thing I ever did was to visit a naturist beach this Summer. If you can do that, then the rest's a doddle.

When you don't feel nervous before a meet then it's time to stop. So embrace the jitters and get jiggy

We both get incredibly nervous before a meet, especially the hour beforehand. One of the reasons we prefer to host rather than travel. Familiar surroundings help. It’s a mixture of anxiety, excitement and anticipation. Glad to say the nerves disappear very quickly once the fun starts

It's a new person, a new experience, one that can be very vulnerable. Of course you're going to be nervous. But that can also be excitement.

Feel the fear, do it anyway, believe in yourself. They want to meet you.

This is why when we go on meets we don’t like to chat for too long as I feel the nerves kicking in, once the fun starts I am fine,

Gee, I'm the opposite, I need to chat a bit first to get myself situated.

I can get nervous and shy when meeting new people, nerves are only natural. You just have to realise that and try to think of the positives rather than dwell on negatives, this helps you to suck it up and power through. This is helpful whether it be a job interview, a fab meeting or otherwise.

Though I don't always follow my own advice lol

We love the nerves, the excitement, trepidation, it's what makes a meet for us. We up the ante without a social and throw in a hotel meet for good measure. Plenty of research we must add.

It is nerve wracking. Probably more for males than females because of the expectation to perform.

You don't want it to get in the way.

But it's like going on a first date but as husband and wife and you're both excited...amazing feeling. X x xxx xxx xxx

Nerves are a good thing ! It’s almost always fine! Although never feel pressured even if you may get the negative reviews! Oh and finally never go to a meet after a heavy night on the beer when your nerves have totally disappeared !

I take ages to meet as I like to get to know someone over messages first. And then on a meet I like to have a chat first to make me feel more comfortable. Weirdly I am more comfortable with meets than I ever was with the dating game x

Gets me when someone is very interested and they bottle it everytime but seem to have no trouble meeting others.

You just have to cut losses and move on.

Always going to be nervous sharing yourself with someone new. Once naked and touching soon goes away.

I hope

I always get nervous, but it's never been so bad that I've cancelled on anyone.

The advice someone gave about getting there early is good, I like to do this if we are meeting somewhere, gives me a minute to calm down and so they can view me from a distance when they arrive and bolt if they want to

Be honest about your nerves ... expect them .. embrace them but dont let the butterflies turn into a herd of elephants

My first meet on a previous profile, many years ago now, the guy phoned me whilst i was on my way to his and chatted made me laugh ... he said it was only way he was sure i would turn up lol

Keep your eye on the prize that's waiting if you go through with it, if you back out you just didn't want it enough.
