Plymouth

An amp is someone who is complaining loudly about something. Usually the stuff the amp complains about no one else cares about or is irrelevant. To amp is pretty much to bitch, complain, or to exaggerate grotesquely.

They normally ask for amp friends or amp amp friends can’t see it being about complaining?

Amp is short for ampersand or the & sign. There's a glitch in the site software that alters & to amp.

It means nothing more than that

Boring fact coming up.

When children used to recite the alphabet they had to say "and per se &" which ran together and sounded like ampersand.

Yes. It appeared on ours when we used &.

It is genuinely nothing more and has no secret meaning

And it's shape came from combining the letters of "et" (Latin for and)

the right frame of mind -London

It's the thing that sits between your record player and the speakers on your stereo.

It's a feeling of euphoria brought on by endorphins.

It's web programmer code for a secret symbol found above the number eight on your PC keyboard.

It's a crazy sexual fetish that only people in the know have any clue about.

take your pick

Brighton - even Hove!

The explanations have been ample.
