Discretion

Ok, so I'm big on the discretion!!!

...but...

what do you do when you spot someone you know and fancy in the 'real world' on fab? I've got it wrong before, but still find myself in a quandary once in a while.

It's usually best left well alone. But what if they're thinking the same and you could both be enjoying playing together?

Approach them in the real world and don't mention fab.

Hmm but say it's a couple. Not so easy without an understanding.

Also, I'd feel dishonest if I didn't mention it. How does that play out for you?

It doesn't for us as it's never happened.

Either block them as said above or message saying you know them.

Personally discretion to us means what it says on the tin. Respect other people's privacy and don't blab. We had a message from a guy who knew us in real life. We didn't meet him and we didn't tell his wife. Now thats what is meant by discretion.

My choice would generally be block and pretend you'd never seen their profile. However if you go to socials and parties and there's a chance you might cross paths on the scene I think it's only fair to warn them - just drop a quick message, say who you are, tell them what happens on Fab ... and then you're not putting them at a disadvantage if you all rock up at the same club at the same time.

Discretion means to me they have something to hide ...

Up to you if you want to get involved ... some like the thrill

Some cannot be bothered with the drama

Not necessarily something to hide, maybe just don't want the whole world knowing their business. I know this is how it is for me.

I'd say message them, then leave it with them to make the decision.

I guess it depends on what outcome one is hoping for.
