We are planning on being in Bristol midweek in the New Year. We have been trying to find some clubs to go to - or parties. Does anyone know any?

I've not been but I believe there's one called The Office. No idea what it's like, mind you.

Otherwise, Bath isn't far and there's a club there.

Similarly, Newport is just over the bridge (gotta pay to get in to Wales, naturally, but there's no charge to go back to England

).... there's a Chams in Newport.

I visit Bristol a lot for work and unfortunately none of the clubs open midweek, mores the pity. However, I know a very nice group who entertain me when I go down so if you don't find anything you can find them on my verifications.

There is a club in Bath, although I can't find the opening times on their website.

The area the club`s in isn`t the nicest part of Bristol either! (Sorry if you live there!)

Well I never! It's walking distance from our house (not that i'd ever walk that far

) lol (far enough away that we live in a bit of a nicer area mind) It's not a bad area, just an industrial estate where they're based. Bumpy, we've moved since you last came to see us

Looks like it's open Thurs/Fri/Sat. I've not heard amazing things tbh.

As far as I know, most of the clubs/nights round here are Fri/Sat nights. Sorry. Hope you guys find something.

Don't know about the Bath club, but the description above is being generous.

The Office is by far the worst club we have EVER attended.

Re your original post, Gems near Yeovil is open on Wednesdays from 2pm till 11pm. They can be found in the club listings and you just need to phone and get yourself on the list.

The Lodge Gloucester is open Wednesdays for a social night, see reviews under clubs, been to this one on a Friday and a Saturday both nights were way to quiet

but the club itself and the owners are all great. (it's 40 minutes drive from Bristol)

I think all the others are weekends only, but can't be certain as things to change...
