How to wrap a toy ?????

In amongst the Unicorns & fairy dust

So I have been clearing out my divan bed and 1 drawer is quite full of toys ,,, I have most of them wrapped without batteries but will it be ok to put some in sealable freezer type bags so they don’t melt ? ,,,,, sensible replies needed please xx

We’ve had problems with ours melting and sticking together Best way of avoiding this is to dust them with corn flour or talc before storing them in separate bags. Hope this helps OP

To be honest I wish I could recycle most of them as they are redundant xx

The toys that were beyond help we had to throw out. Any new ones we now buy are made from silicone as these don’t melt. Never forget when I opened a bag of toys we hadn’t used for a while and saw a horrible gloopy mess lol! xx

Wash a dry then a dusting of talc before wrapping in clingfilm.

Years ago I had this big purple dildo and it somehow managed to stain all the flesh coloured toys I had.

I then kept it in a old stocking which seemed to work.

Send them to a WEEE recycler, we get them often at my work, you would be surprised alot of people do not clean them when they send them in

Lol! I buy a lot of dildos for my strap-on. Used to store them together in a bag. They literally started melting like candles Common problem apparently. I now store them separately and after washing them, dust them with corn flour to protect them.

In clingfilm first then wrapping paper. It stops the paper tearing on the pointy bits.

I thought the same as you when I saw the header.

Not sure why OP is wanting to wrap them if they are redundant. Put in the bin.

They do they go to a WEEE company after for disposal. Into giant shredder, then materials out the other end/waste. Then materials sorted and sold off per kg(metal, gold, silver pcb etc . Rest goes to landfill as can be reused or no value.

We had this recently, luckily enough it was only the old 1’s which were affected! Seemed to be the Ann Summers vibrators more than the suction dildos. Never heard the corn flour too before though

Don't buy rubber, PVC or TPE toys. They're so toxic and melt against others of the same material. If you use talc, it will get stuck in the pores along with bacteria, no matter how much you clean them, resulting in infections.

Stick with silicone, glass or steel toys and these don't melt and can be stored together.
