Stop someone seeing a message?

So, I sent someone a message that wasn’t for them that had some semi-personal details in. Nothing major. I can see that the person who received the message has read it.

But my question is - is there a way I can “unsend” that message? If I block them will the message chain disappear?

Don’t think so, you try contacting admin see if they can help?

Not sure if you block the person it deleted any messages between you??

I asked the question a while back, whether blocking someone stops them seeing messages sent before you block and consensus was that they'd still see any messages sent prior. Not aware of any way to recall them.

I stand corrected, thanks for confirming x

No worries, As I say that was forum consensus, I've never had an official answer or unblocked someone to check but it kind of makes sense (I'm not very techy but this site doesn't seem bell and whistle laden to do things like that)

"no only way is user no longer on site "

If they've screen shot though that won't help
