I look at profiles often updating and going through different phases and versions.

Sometimes its short and sweet like now, but other times i create and essay.

What do people prefer?

Yes I am looking for tips but also general disscussion on prefrence.

I like a well thought out profile with good information about the person themself and what they can offer (without going into graphic detail) and what they are looking for. Makes it easier to see if you are possibly on the same page before messaging. Not a fan of the ridiculously long profiles where people keep a running commentary of their day to day fab exploits.

Not too long, but I’d prefer longer and more informative than ten lines of anonymous clichés. I don’t think it goes against forum rules to mention good examples. Funderzone’s profile made me laugh out loud when I read it. It’s quite long, but he knows what to do with it.

P.S. I had read yours before I saw this post and thought it was pretty good for a very short one...

I guess I do like a bit more length..

Ours is a long one, but has everything in it. I know most people just click through to the pics, and then just wink or send the "hi I'm horny" messages.

If they cannot be bother to at least skim through the text, then really are they worth perusing?

Just make sure the import stuff is in it, any likes and no-go's and you should be good.

I guess it depends for every person as some like it short, some like it long and others like it somewhere in the middle so it’s quite hard to gauge the most effective length.

I say your profile is a good read with a good length maybe a bit long everything that is needed is there

Personally I think yours is a bit short OP and could do with a bit more information on it, doesn't really tell me much. Just my opinion though

Thanks all for the advice. I think you all confirmed my thoughts as such, but it couldnt hurt to add a few more lines, but i guess with the amount competition as such, the only way to stand out is to fill it out a bit. Which i will do in the future.
