First time club confidence

I would really like to visit a club but as an older larger lady I’m finding it hard to pluck up the courage. Are all the clubs full of young beautiful people as I imagine?

You get people of all shapes and sizes.

Most clubs have very friendly staff who make you feel at ease.

Embrace it and go! We love Cupid's , your profile is hidden so can't see your location to recommend clubs near to you.

No, it's all ages, shapes and sizes. Don't worry about your size and age, be confident.

As to going alone, it can depend on the club and the night. I would have said it'll be fine up until recently, when I had a bad experience (which would have been much worse had I not had a friend with me).

who is at a club is very much luck of the draw on the night but you do get all ages. You might like to choose a club that has either a specific night or parties for BBWs and their admirers, such as Chameleons in Birmingham, also it might be an idea to make sure the club know you are a nervous newbie, they might even find you one of the regulars to chaperone you about a bit till you feel comfortable.

As for being safe, realistically you are safer in a swingers club than you would be in a normal vanilla nightclub

Completely understand how you feel OP. I'm in a similar situation, and so nervous about going, I'm no slim him and really self conscious about the dressing down aspect.

I have however found someone on here who is used to clubs and he has said be will take me and look after me, is this something that you could do?

I’ve been on my own, it’s nervewracking beforehand but fine once you’re there! There are people of all shapes and sizes, all ages you won’t feel out of place I’m sure.

Good luck! You could put up a meet or a post to find other single women in your area to go with. I’d go with you if you were near me.

I’m a larger, older woman and feel less judged about my body in clubs generally than in real life social occasions. People of all shapes and sizes really do attend and have fun. I would happily accompany a woman to a local club if she wanted to experience it. No licking of bits expected or necessary.

I'm in a similar situation really want to go but nervous about going on my own for the first one so I'm going to a social at a club localish to me on friday and take it from there I'm sure it will be ok once I'm there

There will be something for everyone and you will have a great time.

As a lady in my 50s and of larger size, I feel much happier going into a swingers club alone, than I would a pub.

I get admired and chatted to in a club. I get ignored or frowned at in a regular pub.

Once you have been you will love it.

I suggest you mention the club you are hoping to go to in your status and ask if anyone one would accompany you.

I am in the same position ...I don't know anyone yet who would be willing to go with me ..and I so want to experience the club scene ..I am close to Northampton and Rugby but would also consider traveling to Birmingham ....

If there are any other solo ladies out there wanting to go maybe we could go together ??

Hi all i have only in the last 2weeks done my first club...eventually...purple mamba in nottingham...and i carnt reccomend it enough tbh i dont know why i worked myself up all this time,carnt wait to go again...i must thank my close friend for accompanying me tho

Honestly, clubs are not as daunting as anyone who has never been will be imagining. Ladies will be well looked after by staff, especially if they request it, and guys just need to be willing to engage and chat with people.

We attended VA festival of fun as our 1st club visit. There were people all shapes and sizes x

I went as a single for 4 yes.. And I'm far from young and beautiful..or slim. Go for it. It certainly does build your confidence. No way would I have thought 4 yrs ago I would walk around a club In lingerie. Let alone naked.. Plus I've met and made loads of friends from Going regular. Oh and yeah got a husband from it too. Lol met Del in my club almost 3 yrs ago.
