"I'm pretty sure you can name the make Rachel. Just don't post a link to their site. I've always been wary of steam and hair, I can't get past the idea that it will make it frizz." Thank you.

"I'm pretty sure you can name the make Rachel. Just don't post a link to their site. I've always been wary of steam and hair, I can't get past the idea that it will make it frizz. Thank you. I use a pair of 12 year old GHDs. I really do need some new ones but £200 is a bit beyond me at the moment. Sometimes my hairs too smooth or conditioned to put it up without a struggle but thats a good thing

My hairdresser explained it this way: I have extensions so the moisture level is maintained at a higher heat level. That relays the surface of the extensions, which are essentially dead hair. It really does too. I was getting it smooth and straight but not like this and not in seconds. I was using a comb or a brush as I straightened but these have a built in comb.

Yup steam works wonders for hair extensions, makes them brand new. Loads of YouTube videos of steamers being used on wigs as well and making them brand new.

This is true. I’m a hairstylist and I regularly use steam for the wigs I make and for hair extensions clients have sent in for me to colour or treat. I also have the SteamPod and it’s a godsend!
