"I'm pretty sure you can name the make Rachel. Just don't post a link to their site. I've always been wary of steam and hair, I can't get past the idea that it will make it frizz." Thank you. ![]() ![]()

Thank you. ![]() ![]() I use a pair of 12 year old GHDs. I really do need some new ones but £200 is a bit beyond me at the moment. Sometimes my hairs too smooth or conditioned to put it up without a struggle but thats a good thing ![]()

Thank you. ![]() ![]() ![]() My hairdresser explained it this way: I have extensions so the moisture level is maintained at a higher heat level. That relays the surface of the extensions, which are essentially dead hair. It really does too. I was getting it smooth and straight but not like this and not in seconds. I was using a comb or a brush as I straightened but these have a built in comb.

Thank you. ![]() ![]() ![]() This is true. I’m a hairstylist and I regularly use steam for the wigs I make and for hair extensions clients have sent in for me to colour or treat. I also have the SteamPod and it’s a godsend!
