There are low burn candles on the market but you pay a high price for them. I understand paraffin wax candles are better and less likely to burn. I have also been told ordinary household candles are ok, just hold them a bit higher thus giving a longer cool rate from the time the wax drips to the time it reaches the skin. Not tried it myself but am looking into this form of pain/pleasure

somewhere

You can buy body candles but they are expensive I have body candles that melt & turn into warm oils for massage so don't burn..... But they are expensive compared to big standard ones but I love them so worth the money

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

Don't use tallow candles. They burn a lot hotter than paraffin.

Just make sure they are proper wax candles and not the cheap nasty ones that contain animal fat as them ones can burn as hot fat on you instead of warm wax lol

First time we played with wax Shaz was on the floor and I was stood on a chair to give the wax a chance to cool before hitting the skin. you can slowly decrease the distance then until you have it just how you like it.

We found about 2 foot distance was nice for Shaz but might be to much or to little for others.

Wax is fun

Not tried this before but sounds like it could be fun.

Prefer to be the one dropping the wax though

We've both done this, and the cheaper type of candles have more paraffin in with the wax which makes them liquify at a lower temperature and so they're cooler on the skin than say beeswax candles which are the hottest of all (I reckon) and they are just really 'warm'.

We've used coloured candles and built up layers for visual effect, and the odd scented candle too, because they burn really cool, but you have to be careful you don't have an allergic reaction to the wax or anything in it.

One real pointer is dont' wrap anyone in clingfilm and then wax over it as it's really painful - on second thoughts, might be worth saving that for a night when you need ' the next notch up '

Be careful and make sure none of you burn the house down

If you see a fire engine later, it's probably heading round to ours, as I can be clumsy

100% soy wax burns at a much lower temperature and though hot, won't burn you - great for massaging into the skin too

If you want to try candles.. try using tealights... burn a lot lower temp and easier to control as well.

Regular household candles are far to hot to start out with, tea lights you can use from quite close as well and it doesnt burn.

Quote from a friend:-

about the wax bees wax is the hottest burnin wax u get tell whom ever asked b4 careful with it it hits your skin and keep burning unlike normal candle wax which starts cooling as soon as it hits your skin, beez wax will blister and give degree burns if not careful, great for certain moods but dangerous if not careful .

.

"ignore my ignorance, what is wax play and how does it work and how do u do it etc ?"

I've never done it so going from what people have told me here. It's where someone drips candle wax onto another persons erogenous or sensitive zones to cause a bit of pain and pleasure.

Sam improvised one night in a club, and we had Sam riding me with wax being pored down her back and of course going all over me by a Dom girl, and her mate using a riding whip on both of us . by the end we had a crowd of about 20 watching. We had the whole thing filmed and photographed, it was the very early morning and all the people still there gave consent about the filming as they stood behind the camera.......

Then we had people picking it off !!!

It was bloody amazing....

It was just one of those random moments made up on the spot..

I think it was just the candles in those little pair shaped glasses.

peak district

We watched a guy being tortured by wax in the French swinger club, L'Extasia, a couple of years ago. Two young women in high heels and "Nazi" style peaked hats - and nothing else - were pouring wax all over him while he groaned each time, but he also looked as though he was enjoying it. Not our scene at all!

As with all things it's a matter of degree.

We enjoy the aesthetic as much as the stimulation. That's why we want the colour build up for photography

It was a Sod picking it off later lol.
