Hey

Apologies if this is in the wrong section but had s quick look send wasn't sure.

Myself and my partner have been looking and chatting on here a few weeks now and we're really struggling to find genuine people. The main issue is some people that are verified are turning out to not be genuine. One person had verifications but when asked for a photo were they held up 3 fingers on kik they sent a totally random picture. I did report this person as they had clearly hacked the account of a woman and got hold of some of her pictures.

I suppose what I'm asking is, what is the actual verification process on here? Is it easy to fake?

To get verified by Fab, all you have to do is hold up a piece of paper with "FabSwingers.com" in it while showing full body and/or face. I guess that would be easy to fake if a previously verified woman had all her pictures stolen and reposted by some random weirdo.

I'd say that's rare though. There are tonnes of genuine people on Fab.

Maybe the verified woman was irritated at being asked to prove she was genuine by holding up 3 fingers on kik.

I usually read their verifications, then read the profile and verifications of the people who have verified them. You will most certainly be able to paint a picture at that point. There are many fakes on here who are usually just after your images. Also request a video chat

Thats just photo verified by fab ..what about meet and webcam verifications they can be fake too or added as a favour

The one thing to remember on sites like this..never send nude wih face pictures.. never if naked show your face on webcam.it can be recorded.. always go with your gut feelings..

You have every right to be suspicious. We’ve had a bit of trouble with this: weirdos (we assume men) posing as women and couples. Funny really as we can’t imahine women pretending to be men!

We usually have a nosey at their verifications (if they have any) and see if they’ve been verified by anyone who looks legit or, even better, someone we know or at least know of.

There’s a profile of a single lady near us who looks hot but she’s been verified off one single guy. She’s then verified him saying how amazing he is at fucking. Both within a mile of us. Seems like someone’s trying to big himself up.

We have asked for photos before or webcam chats if unsure, but branching off at their connections can be helpful. On the flip side of this some guys see it as a green light to pester (our profile says no single men but he got in touch asking to meet as we had looked at his profile. When we declined he got all rude asking why we had looked at him!)

Anyway, hope this helps.

As has been said there are always ways to get around everything no system is full proof and some people see it as a challenge to circumvaigate the system. We've only been on this lifestyle choice journey for a year now but we have experienced.

People who are definitely not the people in the photos.

People who say one thing and arnt the real deal.

People who don't turn up and then block you.

Fantasists who are cyber rouges.

Narcissists

Idiots and people who find pleasure in abusing others.

Partners being manipulated to play.

This isn't perculiar to this site but normal to human behaviour in all walks of life.

We've also found some lovely and respectful great people and have had laughs, fun and made some good friends.

Hence another years subscription paid. Xx

I would say use your gut instinct, if it doesn't sound/look right walk away

PV's on the site are very strict and are normally checked by another person after approved. Of course mistakes can be made too so if you think Admin need to check a profile and it's PV, report the profile please

We would never give our number out to anyone or ask for theirs, even people we have already met, KIK is more than enough for this, I don't understand why having someones number would make any diffeence, doesn't mean we aren't genuine

I agree, in fact I take a similar stance but take it even further. I don't give out my phone number or use any other messaging apps. The fab messaging system works perfectly well enough for me. I won't jump through hoops to prove I'm real and genuine. I won't send specially taken photos to prove myself or meet any other similar demands.

I understand why people ask for this but I'm not playing their little games.

The only thing I insist on is a social meet first unless we are meeting at a club. A social is only ever that with no prospect of play. It's an opportunity to suss each other out and I like to go away and mull over my thoughts about them before considering playing.

Just because someone doesn't go about things the same way as you do doesn't make them a time waster.

I often get accused of being fake tho and I’m really not.

You can generally get a feel for timewasters but some people get it very wrong !

Gut instinct, after you have been on here a while you start to recognise the signs, yes you might get it wrong occasionally but in the main we have always been proved right when we suspect that a profile is not what it appears.

We also dont use kik whats app or snapchat or give our phone numbers out.

We chat for as long as necessary and then arrange a social.

Whats the rush i say.

We usually ask for a text at least , not foolproof bug does help, also look at thee verified and see who they have met especially good if they have meet people you have meet

Is the profile of the person you reported still active here?
