Go to your local solicitors and swear an affidavit that you’re single, then upload it as a photo here. Obviously you could get married the next day which makes this advise total bollox, but hey ho.

And when the receptionist politely asks what's it's for?

Hey, don’t knock it, OP may pull the Receptionist when he tells her.

Offer to accommodate at home - you are a single adult man so why would that be an issue - unless you are married or live with your Mum!

You can't prove it. They will either believe it or not.

Why would you want to meet someone that doesn't trust you?

Or they have children at home or even house/flat share.

"Not sure how i can prove i.m single"

You don't need to: people will meet you or not.

You don't have to justify to anyone here why you don't accommodate, however, stating you don't because of family in the area seems a bit lame. I'd leave it at don't accommodate.

Maybe the "family in the area" are in a caravan outside his front door so see all his visitors.

Yep thats my issue..houseshare and one of my housemates by sheer bad coincidence works for same organisation as me! One reason I normally play in a club

My kids are in my area and could pop in-or come home-at any time of the day. So could my grandchildren.

No one makes an appointment to visit me.

Yep...perfectly fine for me not to accommodate because I don’t want randomers knowing where I live, married guys to get followed by their pther halves or the rest of the neighbourhood seeing who’s traipsing in and out my door...but if you’re a guy, you must be married or live with your mum
