I'm new, can I get any tips?

I'm new to this website and also new to the whole swinging idea, it's something I've had an interest in for some time but I'm completely inexperienced in this kind of thing.

Can anyone help me out with etiquette, what the kind of normal procedures are for arranging meets, even tips for breaking the ice?

I'm a single guy, looking to get involved and I fully understand that's not what most will be after but any tips to help improve would be appreciated.
