We hold partys and NEVER ask for payment

And we supply

Wetwipes

Condoms

Mixers

Soft drinks

Nibbles

All we ask is people bring there own alcohol. And them self.

I certainly wouldnt pay to attend a party i had been asked to go to.

We went to one where we paid £20 to cover buffet and mixer costs etc but in reflection it was probably just a money making exercise and wasn’t really value for money saying that we went twice lol

Like most things in life . Never pay for anying up front unless there are guarantees you will get what you are paying for I.E. like something you would buy on eBay and have paypal protection..unless you personally know this event organiser or they have a great reputation and of course you are happy to pay, I would steer clear and avoid. There are lots of free events advertised on here, some just ask you bring a bottle or two of alcohol or beer

North west ish

Too many party planners/Escorts on here at the moment. Usually hide behind the single female profile.

No OP I wouldnt pay £30 to go to a party. Are you guaranteed play or just being used ad a cash cow? Better to stump up a bit more cash and find an up front Escort on other sites.

We have been to loads of parties and never paid anything. We do ask what the party hosts drink so we can take a bottle as a gift, but most just ask for a plate for the buffet.

I think a plate or a bottle is a fair contribution tbh. It should go without saying that you bring your own condoms and lube?

It all depends. I would say look at the details of the party and listen to what your gut has to say about the price, details and who's organising it.

Depends. More likely to pay for a hired venue with a known party organiser.

What is your £30 supposedly covering? If a £300 hotel suite has been rented and there are 10 or so attendees it may be reasonable.

If the party is at someone's homeand they are looking to cover expenses such as drinks, nibbles, cleaning of bed linen.... It is surely over the top.

The one time we organised a sex/kink house party we only invited friends we know and charged nothing.

hiding from cock pics.

I know of event organisers that hire out venues and upfront have a charge for a contribution. They are established in the scene and the tickets are purchased through sites like eventbrite so in the event of something going wrong people will get their money back.

I think it really depends on the information given to you, including what the cost covers, how luxurious the Venue is, and what is provided, plus experience and reputation of the hosts.

I definitely would proceed with caution, and possibly speak to guests who have attended their parties before.

We would, even if they said they were providing them.

We prefer to use our own.

If it's an established or well attended event then £30 for a couple sounds more than reasonable, especially if drinks and nibbles are being supplied

If its a party in a private residence, by an established couple, who have done it before, then costs are minimal.

We have been to quite a few parties, some small, with half a dozen couple and a few singlies, and some large ones, with maybe 40 people, and have never paid anything.

You have a choice, surely no one is forced to attend such parties, just move on and go to a club or another party. It's entirely the hosts choice what they do.

Sadly we paid to go to a party last year... think it was £50 for the two of us

I don’t know why we did- or what we were expecting it would go towards.

We had a great night but not sure how the money contributed to it....

Will never pay again for a house party.

I enquired about a couple who were hosting a party near Heathrow last week and they mentioned a small contribution is required. They messaged back to say £100.00.

I politely declined the offer, it must have been a very nice hotel room though

My husband and I paid £20 in advance towards the cost of the house that had been hired but that was more than reasonable we thought, have contributed half towards hotels before. Where somewhere has been hired I expect to contribute.

No doubt

By when it’s clearly their own house

I would happily contribute- as we did- but for drinks or food or something...

Otherwise we just left feeling confused

I've never paid at private parties, always take a few bottles of wine though. My parties are the same I will always cook a Chilli, curry or bbq and supply lots of nibbles and drinks, but people always contribute too with a bottle or two and desserts.
