I have reached the point where i am definately confident enough to go along but as a single male I'm wondering how likely it is that I'd be accepted in?

Am i better bringing along my female fwb?

Give me some good stories. I want to know it's worth my while ??

Check that the club you wish to visit welcomes single males when you want to attend. Drop them a polite introductory message in advance to say hello and let them know it’s your first time. Chat to people in a friendly way at the club. Have no expectations beyond introducing yourself to like minded people and networking.

Most of all have a great time.

The first club I went to I went alone. Found it hard as there tended to be groups of people who all knew each other and I felt a little awkward trying to strike a conversation. I felt a little lost to be honest and didn’t really enjoy myself. All clubs are different though (so I’ve been told). Would love to go to another club, but would want to take another female with me.....Wink wink ladies.

It can be daunting but there’s usually an area, probably the bar, where you can strike up a conversation. Give it a go.

Either go on your or if you go as a couple make sure it’s not a night where you have to play as a couple. Some clubs have theme nights and they are usually busy.

OP many clubs welcome single men so you can go alone. I would only say take your fwb if it is something she really wants to do together.

Chams do an excellent bbw party every couple of months next one is June the 24th we are going to cupids for there curvy Thursday event on the 7th 1st time we have tried it there. As for what to wear you could try a babydoll or a silky negligée xx

Hi friends...I am a single bloke, my first club visit was to Townhouse nr. Birkenhead. It was an over 50's night and I was scared...but I found the experience amazing, I dressed down to shorts and just mingled..I found people welcoming and genuine...hard chatting to a girl with beautiful naked breasts !! But I didn't embarrass myself..I didn't play but hey what did I expect...since then I'm a regular attender and a member.

I think the key is to dress for you, in whatever makes you feel sexy

I went the first time in a top, legfings and heels. It was a long top with lots of cleavage so after a while i lost the leggings.

I've been in a nice basque too, enough to not feel too naked.

You are close to a brilliant swingers club Atlantis in Burslem, Stoke. You do not get undressed and wear what you like. I personally go alone and prefer Fridays when single men, single ladies and couples attend.

I would not feel safe or comfortable going into a pub alone, but Atlantis is like a nightclub downstairs with a bar, DJ and dance floor and it has various play areas and rooms upstairs. Everyone looks out for each other and it has a lovely friendly atmosphere.

Bring ID and join on the night.

OP. Go to a club alone. You are then free to chat to people. Best advise is to tell people you are new and can you chat to them for a few minutes.

That takes the pressure off them, that they don't presume you are wanting to take things further initially.

Best to stay near the bar area, as that's the place everyone goes and initially you can chat to bar staff.

On arrival at a club, you will be given a tour and you can ask if they could introduce you to a couple of the regulars.

Don't expect to have sex on the first visit. If you make an effort to look and smell good and smile, you will make a good first impression.

I am a regular at a club and a new chap spent his first evening chatting to several people, asking about club experiences and just introducing himself. When he then returned a couple of weeks later, people smiled as he arrived and he was soon welcomed to play with a couple he had already met and the following week, he was soon taking a single lady into a private room.

So chat to people, watch the action and just get a feel for the place. Most importantly have a great evening.

If you do get to a club please don't be one of the sad bastards that stand around play areas wanking and staring at the people playing.

Follow the advice already given and talk to people, it can be very difficult if you are naturally shy but force yourself to do it.

Smile and say hello but don't stalk people, if you have a quick chat and move on (unless they keep you talking) and then return to them later for another quick chat.

Every club ‘welcomes’ single guys; at a premium, and only at certain times. You need to read through their website to check their regulations.

If you have a female fwb, I recommend you go the first time, as a couple. It’s a hugely different experience as a couple than that of a single guy, and if you do decide to go elsewhere by yourself, at least the fear factor of the complete unknown won’t be there for you. But you will find it completely different by yourself.

Chameleons in Darleston is good, they do have a waiting list for single males though so ringing up beforehand is recommended.

Me and my ex used to attend, couples can just sign up on the day and be allowed in.

I miss going, but not sure I'm brave enough to go alone.

I went to a club and got pounced on not expecting anything to happen.

I went to another club and felt like an alien and didn't know what to do with myself felt really lost and left early. Probably got better if I stayed. The girls wore wristbands to say you can approach but was felt to feel uncomfortable. Maybe better next time. Any hints.

You are in Stockport. Manchester North west has a high density of clubs. Strongly recommend the gatehouse in Farnworth near Bolton for a first solo visit. Most importantly NO membership required and so stupid single male charges and no dress down requirements. Small but very friendly to let you socialise chat with others see what a typical club is like and build on that. And go for it. You're not getting any younger.

Spot on, best advice to any single guy, as an event organiser the only complaints we ever receive is from couples complaining of being stalked by single guys, it’s not that difficult to strike up a conversation in a club and a club is certainly not a substitute for a knocking shop, single guys who have respect and make the effort always have a great night the ones that don’t often go home frustrated.

Personally making the effort to dress up or dress provocatively creates a much better sexuality charged atmosphere initially in any club, you are left wondering what is under the dress and anticipating finding out later in the evening when people go off to play.

That is true depending on the club eg this is true for libs. You start off dressed up and socialising then go off to play. But at chams it's different. There is a mixture of people dressed up and down and still very sexual atmosphere.

I was very nervous before going to my first club, but my shyness disappeared almost straight away. The management are very welcoming and was a regular until my mums sudden illness made it impossible to go. Fortunately her condition has now stabilised, so will be resuming my visits on Tuesday June 5th. I’m really looking forward to it.

Fridays in Cupids is good for singles. Or their MOTD on Tuesdays. Townhouse is also fab. Just try to relax, chat to folks and don't expect any play at first

As a couple, we love single guys watching us play and if Tips allows, he will let the guys play with us.

We go to clubs regularily. Some nights are fab. Sometimes they are a bit flat. We try to go on theme nights so they are busy.
