We keep getting loads of these. Most are very obvious but we get so many it’s not even funny anymore.

A few weeks back we met a couple that had fallen for a guy that was messaging us and when they got to his, his Mrs had nipped Home to get changed and isn’t answering her phone now.

Anyway we met them and they told us the story and they showed us who it was and we showed them the messages he’d sent us. Anyway he’s blocked but now every single weekend we get the same deal from these people and it’s just really annoying is there anyway of reporting it to the admins?

You can report a profile as potentially fake yes and can do so from that profiles home page - however there would have to be fairly compelling evidence it was fake because otherwise people would just abuse the report function.

You can often spot these profiles but sometimes it is just a "feeling" you get, an instinct.

I always ask them straight out if they are a couple or if it is the man only using the account.

Most of the take they say they used to be a couple but now it is just the man who plays.

I report them to admin, message the profile to tell them i have reported them and why, then I block them.

Key is to ask to speak to both parties straight away overthe phobe ( this usually. Sends them scarpering) if the excuses start( asleep, working, shopping) then just say only contact when you are both there to speak over the phone . This is my advise

No admin gives a f**k about fake profiles, only the legal stuff and getting your money.

I've reported several profiles that are obviously fake/misleading and action has been taken - the difficulty is proving they're fake and if that can't be done there's not a lot admin can do

We reported a male profile which was offering £100 for sex. Guess what, the profile is still active and in daily use.

I've had these in the past. Most recently someone on the forum and when I checked the green arrow his wife had left ages ago.

They had a few decent veris so other than catching him out on here I would never of known.

Report their profile or report the message where he admits it's just him meeting.

I always speak to the woman on the phone. If 'they' want to talk about sex it's usually just a man wanking.

Seems to be a fair few of these. No verifications from meets or photo verified. Husband does all the talking and organising, when you ask to speak to the female half.

101 questions are asked why u wanna speak to her for etc... Then the excuses come flying in.

End of the day being a single guy I take my safety serious so having a chat with the female half helps put my mind at ease and also breaks the ice.

Read too many scare stories on th forum of guys meeting without speaking to both couples. Turn up to a meet and find out someone is having a laugh with them, or worse when the so called husband says we can play if you want.....

Is slowly ruining the fun on here meeting new people.

As single guys get a bit of a bad reputation but these 'couple' profiles are horrendous.

Admin are sometimes a little so slow on the uptake and can understand that . we had a guy who had actually used his wifes pictures with out her knowledge and it took us a while to suss him out ,but sure enough the message came that he was allowed to play alone . Yes we were devious as we spoke to a couple off the friends list and they said they had the same issue . simple rule is if it does not feel right then its probably fake ,and google image or tin eye are pretty good .

Probably been blocked a few times for being fake ourselves. Trouble has been the wife hasn't wanted to play for a bit since we had our sin, most of the time I run the profile as the wife has a job where she cannot have her phone with her and when not at work is horrendously busy, any potential meets would always be run past her first.

I am on here with my fiancee as a couples profile and we have learnt to go by the gut feeling when it comes to take couples.

If we chat on kik were normally good at getting a "live" pic so we at least know who's in front of the camera.

We have been threatened with violence and called a fake time waster a few times. (Normally because we can't meet that night despite saying this early on)

We did have a couple over last bank holiday. She was genuinely out and stuck in traffic. So we did have the "promise she's real.. and she honesty in the way" (all words out in the end .. The M60 is always a pain..lol)

Best thing is to be honest and go off your gut feeling. If the couples are genuine, they should have no issue in confirming they are real. (Live pic for example).

And check the verifications are recent and mention the pair of em.

You can report any profile but the trouble is evidence.

You get a feel for who is and isn't genuine and also we tell any new couple that we want a social first in a public place, that means if they turn up on there own we will just walk out. All our means have turned out to be genuine so far.

For me, I tend to look at a couples profile if they have genuinely met a mutual friend female, male or couple then the chances that they are real. If the couple have lots of veris again chances are that they are real.

We will arrange to meet single guys from this site. But only at a club we use.only a few have turned up. So that at least gets rid of the fakes as we block no shows. We would only meet single guys outside club if they can accom at home and have very good veri. And wife would really have to have hots for them.that has only happened 3x in 8 years

Think with most genuine profiles the male half does most of the arranging, chatting etc as ladies like surprises and goodies delivered to them with less effort so to speak a lot of the time anyway, which probably makes it harder to spot though?

Their main aim is to bypass filters and then try and persuade fem to meet alone

(this happened to us more or less after we joined as a cpl but as Tb said, it always seems to be very young guys who think is oldies are dumb and naive. If they were just honest from the start they would probably get a lot more luck

That would help to deter and make life hard for the idiots who set up accounts just to piss people around.

Just to flip this around slightly. Was previously part of a couple on here. We played together and separate but didn't make multiple profiles.

Was happy for people to talk to us both before play meets and even do social with all of us before playing solo.

We had a lot of veris both as a couple and single. I always found it was best to be proactive open and willing to show we both where happy with things.

Crazy that single guys do that, gives us genuine single dudes a hard time on here. I mean you can't police everything on here and it does piss me off that when I send messages they probably are going straight to the delete pile, as it's from a single guy without even being read. Verifications do help I suppose, but how much I do not know. The the way I look at it is the main players on here understand the site and what type of people are on here so they will go for the genuine ones.... Well hopefully anyway..??

The fakes are usually pretty easy to spot.

You have a lot of in person verifications verifying you as a couple. I doubt anyone would think you're fake.

No because your honest about your intentions upfront. The incident we had was ‘they’ were interested in meeting us but when we got to the Kik stage his other half was away and couldn’t get a signal

just so happened to be in the gym and wanted TB to join him there and then for a fuck whilst I was at work.

It was then TB went cold on him and low and behold we never heard back from him again.....so if you are a single out there thinking you can pull the wool, it won’t happen and you will most likely get caught out and wasting yours and all you try withs time

just so happened to be in the gym and wanted TB to join him there and then for a fuck whilst I was at work.

We do a lot of things separately just because we are often in different parts of the world . But we most definitely prefer to do things together . Beards will mostly chat to the guys and I chat to the females and couples . But he will always arrange the meets when we get that far. We generally will always meet out and about but most people that say they are gonna meet/ring us soon disappear . It was this thread that prompted us to do our verification photo last night just because we get a lot of people saying we aren’t real lol

I had a single guy pretending to be a couple...for a.party invite fairly obvious when you see the web address of xhamster on the photos he posted supposedly of his wife..(who happened to be on holiday but he still wanted to attend the party) blocked and reported

Myself and my partner of over a year have a couples profile - it clearly says its mainly Mr.O replying to messages.

We don't live together though so a lot of your theories about how to spot a fake couple are blown out of the water here.

We don't give phone numbers. Happy to can in chat but could only realistically do that on two evenings a week max?

Most certainly not fake but you lot may assume so from the criteria mentioned.

We also get messages fro these fake profiles however and hope ours read differently.....

We’ve had this several times, MH wants to join us, but when asked for the female to join they go quiet, all photos look as tho they come from a private collection, that likely the female doesn’t even know have been posted.

Fabs could do more to filter out the fakes, but while the fakes are paying for site membership they’ll continue to let them stay.

Same with single female profiles, the amount that we’ve caught out as “couples” who only meet together, state it on their profile, report to site, but are still there a week later.

We used to enjoy the site, but not so much anymore, still has some good points, but as others have said, better filtering of profiles joining is needed

Must make it difficult for genuine couole even when 1 meets alone.

I met the male of a couple but he was jist starting to meet alone and Mrs mailed me on her single.account asking for a pic and asking if she could see a couple of verifications which i kept gidden at the time and verifying that she was happy for him to meet alone. Bit althonshe used the couple profile they were both totally genuine and honest.

Verified doesn't mean 100% kosher.

Had a couple of horrendous meets in the past as a previous couple and let's face it even cringe worthy meets where there was no click usually ends up with "great couple, treat them with respect" baloney.

This is a tricky one. We are most definitely a couple, over 50 veris over the last few years, however at the minute becs not playing due to pregnancy. I get the feeling people don't believe me when I message from this profile, I suppose yes I am a guy messaging from a couples account but we are a couple and it's just me playing.... For now, after baby's we will both be back playing.
